The hotel facilities are perfect. However, the hospitality was disappointing. There were very few staff members, which led to waiting times during check-in and check-out, and we received no explanation regarding the facilities or services.

The hotel markets itself as a luxury property, and I have to say, the rooms truly are absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Grand Suite Ocean View room, and it was beautiful enough that we even extended our stay by two extra nights.
However, the service did not match the standard you would expect from a luxury hotel. When we arrived, we were not greeted at all. The receptionist simply said “yes?” without any welcome, which was quite surprising, especially since we greeted her first. A basic level of friendliness and professionalism would go a long way.
Another issue was the temperature in the reception area and corridors. They were extremely hot, with no air conditioning. You should be prepared to be sweating while waiting to check in.
There were also a few maintenance concerns. The bathroom drain tends to fill up before slowly draining during showers, and the water temperature never gets properly hot. We reported this, and although an engineer was sent, we were told that the temperature could not be adjusted.
Despite these issues, the room itself really is the highlight. It is spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. If service and facilities matched the quality of the rooms, this would easily be a top-tier stay.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple attempts to resolve these issues directly with the hotel, I feel obligated to share my experience.
My family and I traveled from the United States to Vietnam and booked what was advertised as a luxury 5-star suite. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below those expectations.
The issues began with the condition of the room itself. We documented visible mold/mildew in the bathroom grout and tile seams, insect activity including ants in the room, deteriorated flooring around the bathroom drain, stains and maintenance deficiencies throughout the suite, and overall wear and tear that did not reflect a luxury property.
The refrigerator in our room was not functioning properly, resulting in spoiled food that we had purchased for our family, including fresh fruit and prepared meals. When this was reported, the compensation offered was not proportional to the loss or inconvenience.
We also repeatedly experienced service issues. Requests were either delayed or not fulfilled, including requests for water and ironing accommodations. The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, resulting in back pain and poor sleep throughout our stay.
The most serious issue occurred when hotel staff entered our room without our authorization. We had not activated the Make Up Room light, had not requested housekeeping service, and had already exchanged towels prior to leaving. When we returned, our room had been entered and items had been moved while passports, laptops, cameras, iPads, and other personal belongings were left exposed.
This completely destroyed our trust in the property. As international travelers, privacy and security are non-negotiable. Once that trust was broken, we no longer felt comfortable staying at the hotel
What was most disappointing was management’s response. Rather than acknowledging our concerns and working toward a reasonable resolution, every discussion was met with references to “policy.” Meanwhile, the actual guest experience, room condition, privacy concerns, and safety concerns were largely dismissed.
I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve these issues directly with the hotel before escalating them. Unfortunately, no meaningful resolution was offered.
Based on my experience, this property did not meet my expectations for a 5-star luxury hotel, and I would not stay here again.

3 years ago when I come it was alright, but this time during my visit, there was a dead cockroach in my bedroom, I’m definitely disgusted, even the cheaper hotels I went aren’t in such a bad shape. I had high hopes but I guess I wouldn’t pick you guys as an option anymore. I even left my deposit at your lobby but I guess it’s gone by now already.

The hotel is located directly across from the beach, making it super convenient for a swim. The only downside is that there's a building under construction next door, which caused some noise in the south-facing rooms during the day. I was initially assigned a south-facing room, but the front desk staff kindly moved me to a north-facing room, which was completely quiet and offered a beautiful view. A big thank you to the lady at the front desk! The breakfast was also good. I'll definitely choose this beachfront hotel again next time I'm in Da Nang.

I went to Da Nang for the second time and stayed at the Muong Thanh Hotel for the first time.
Muong Thanh Hotel has a great location, but the sea view was amazing, and the pool, rooftop, and breakfast were the best.
I was especially grateful for the front desk staff who were smiling and kind. I would also like to thank Quynh Trang for kindly guiding me to the airport vehicle when checking out in the morning.
I will stay at Muong Thanh Hotel again next time and recommend it to other tourists. Thank you.

When we checked in the reception staff were rude and told us to sit and wait.
We checked in for 3 nights. Then we got the room.
The room wasn't very nice, mold in bathroom, bathroom door broken.
The bedroom carpet was dirty and the bed uncomfortable.
Me and my partner got a bad feeling from the room..
We checked out 1 hour later and booked into a better beautiful hotel.
This hotel is NOT five star, no way near. More like one star.
I will never book this hotel again.
