An Binh Tai Hotel in Da Nang

We booked this hotel for one month because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, we decided to leave earlier for several important reasons. The room was very small, with no window, and no wardrobe or furniture to store our clothes. We were also woken up every morning around 5–6am because of the noise from the reception.
On top of that, there was a water leak in the room, the floor was flooded every day.

We were offered another room in a different building, but we had to pay more for it, even though it did not seem to be in better condition.

When we arrived, they also asked us to cancel our Booking reservation in exchange for 20 bottles of water. Looking back, I would have preferred to keep the reservation so I could leave a review on Booking as well.

When we informed the owner that we wanted to leave early and mentioned the water leak, her only reaction was: “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I refused someone this morning who wanted to stay for one month, and I will not refund you.” This response felt focused only on money, with no real concern about the issues we experienced, especially the leak.

Even though we were not necessarily expecting a refund, this reaction confirmed that we made the right decision to leave.

The hotel is clean and the family is generally friendly, but based on our experience, we would not come back.

Scam! Awful experience, I booked via booking.com and made plans to arrive at the hotel. They sent me a message saying they've overbooked (seems to happen a lot in Vietnam) they've been no help whatsoever in finding alternative accomodation and the money wasted in getting to the accomodation. Booking.com have also been very poor, recommending another hotel 10x more expensive than this one I originally booked and had confirmed.

scam, room on the rooftop with ugly view and a partition in front of the TV which makes no way to watch it. the room smells . no hand soap in the toilet, shower gel is very limited. mosquitoes around. The owner tried to charge me more when I cancelled the rest of my booking.
