Dylan Hotel Danang in Da Nang

- the room was not properly cleaned. there was an old tissue paper in the shower tub, tucked behind the shampoo bottle
- we had a room with a "window", the window in question being so small you'd had a hard time crawling out if you wanted
- as others have mentioned: the room smells of damp and mold
- somehow they were unable to get us another keycard? for a 3-person room.
- got woken up by other guests as the door to the hallway was not soundproof at all
- breakfast is the most unappaling food ive ever seen in vietnam
- the rooftop bar and pool is a complete joke, as the bar has been closed for god knows how long (evident by the thick layer of dust on all glasses). the only "view" you get from this pool is to the wall of a neighbouring hotel

even the fish on the reception live in terribly dirty fishbowl!

Hotel has a horrible mouldy smell throughout every level. Lift smells horrible. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, ruined my back.
Wayyyy dirtier than the pictures.

It’s cheap but you can get way nicer in Da Nang for the same price.
Rooftop pool is okay but with how dirty the hotel is, I wouldn’t want to swim in it.
Barely any ventilation in the entire hotel so it just smells (especially the “restaurant”) like old off food and mould.

Room smells like mold. Not as advertised. Bed was shitty. Shower wasn't hot enough. No windows. Felt like jail cell. Smelled of mold. Staff was unhelpful when issues were brought to them. As if sunlight is a luxury in a four star hotel. Room was far more ugly then online. Was told we need to pay to have a window. Absolutely embarrassing treatment. TV was small and didn't work at all. Batteries were dead and deshaped. Absolutely unacceptable. Had to find correct position in the room to make remote for tiny TV to work. Who has a 2024 renovation with TV's from the 90s. Absolutely gross and unequivocally undeniably appalling. Never stay here. Save your money.
