Golden Sea Hotel in Da Nang

Location was nearby to the beach, alot of food nearby, very convenient. Hotel room was big and room cleaning was done everyday.

Disappointed that no breakfast but comfortable bed, hot shower and clean, and cheap.
“Room with window” may mean it looks out at a wall 3 feet away!

I'll try to be objective in reviewing this hotel. My wife and I stayed for 11 nights. The first room we were assigned immediately gave us a negative impression; it had a damp, moldy smell. At first, we thought the air conditioning would fix it, but we were wrong. The AC didn't cool at all, just circulated air. We contacted the front desk manager to resolve the AC and smell issue. A technician came, refilled the AC with Freon, and it started cooling. However, nothing was done about the smell. After three days, the AC stopped working again. We contacted the manager once more, and she offered us a room change. We moved to another room, which was much cozier despite being smaller. But! The kettle in this room was faulty; once turned on, it wouldn't switch off, so we had to lift it off its base. And the steam escaping from the kettle's handle through plastic gaps would burn our hands when we picked it up. Everything else about the hotel was fine. There's plenty of infrastructure around, including shops, cafes, and pharmacies. The staff were responsive and attentive.

The bottled water in the room is not complimentary, so please don't drink it! Also, be aware that you can't flush the toilet. The location, however, is excellent!

This hotel is probably the best one we've ever stayed in! We wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. We loved everything about it!

This hotel is good for its price. All the bathroom amenities are provided, and the room is spacious. However, the showerhead is placed very high, which is a bit inconvenient. The Wi-Fi isn't particularly strong.
