Tay Bac Hotel in Da Nang

Stayed again in Jan 2026. Rooms are still clean and the windows were good at soundproofing at rear side of building. Bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water and the Aircon works well. Unfortunately breakfast seems quite unhygenic. All food was left uncovered with some windows open and there were flies on the salad etc. staff had not turned on the food warmers for serving on many dishes. The chicken dish and vegetables in oyster sauce were cold and inedible. The stuffed wontons seemed like they were from previous day as was the bread, all stale or hard. Coffee was very very bitter and tasted as if the coffee pot had never been cleaned in a while. Staff kept the tables clean though. Reception staff were happy to show me some different rooms until I was happy with one at the quieter side of the hotel. Somebody even offered to help with bags which can be a rarity on Ha Bong. It's an ok hotel but I'd skip breakfast even if it's included.

Close to My khe beach, the room is ok of 3 star standard. A mini mart in the basement, plainty of eateries nearby, also close to the night market on the beach.
