May Hotel in Da Nang

I would strongly not recommend staying here!

May Hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed at in Da Nang. The hotel is not fit for purpose. It is dirty and filthy, with mould in the rooms and pillows that smell damp and mouldy. The air-conditioning does not work, and there are no basic bathroom necessities provided. There isn’t even a hairdryer.
There are no staff present most of the time, and the property feels completely unsecured. Strangers were coming and going behind the front desk and opening drawers because no staff were there. It felt unsafe and unprofessional and very rude they said they don't care to clean the rooms.

There is no room service, yet the prices are very high compared to all other good hotels in Da Nang that offer far better quality and service. And the basic amenities for a hotel that you expect.

The Boyish personality girl staff is rude. Tried to overcharge me for bike rental. They advertised 100k. I had to pay 120k but I didn’t complain because I don’t want to ruin my travel mood. But then he/she/they try to charge me 100k more. The service is very very poor. 0/10

absolutely avoid booking this place
they never close the bookings and when you arrive at the hotel they say they don’t have any rooms available.

then they ask you to call the company managing the bookings to cancel (because it’s extern to booking.com), i insisted for them to give me cash, but it took a while and i still lost 30k vnd and a lot of time.

also the man working there wasn’t polite at all, didn’t apologise or anything, almost made me feel like it was my fault??? he didn’t try to help. fortunately a lady came to and was more polite and could return my money.

just avoid losing money and time and go somewhere else
wish i could have seen the google reviews before booking, all the recent reviews were alerting about this problem

Small room, water on high floor is weak, drap is dirty and yellow. I am very dissatisfied when paying by card and the hotel has extra charge. I work in many hotels but I have not seen where to charge an additional fee when paying by card. I feel like I was cheated. it gives visitors a feeling of uncomfort and quite frustrating. I do not recommend to rent rooms here, because at that price you can completely find similar places with better service.
