I stayed here for two nights (booked through Airbnb) and I will start with the positives before going on about the negatives and why I’m leaving a 1 star review. Pros: Rosy, the owner, was very helpful before check in on the day of arrival. The room was quaint and the location great if you want a more quiet part of Hoi An about a 15 minute walk from the city center. Shower had hot water, so be careful not to turn it too much to the left or you’ll scald/burn. Negatives about the room: WiFi was not the best but manageable. I also had to leave my room key in the power starter because I have medication that needs to be stored in the room fridge and the fridge turns off if I take the room key out. AC also could be better maintained and the room is slightly dated and housekeeping could be better. Now my main complaint is about the service. The receptionist made it seem like a struggle when asking for any help. She does do it but you really have to ask and it makes me feel bad as the customer throughout my stay, meaning the service isn’t proactive. There was an incident after I checked out and waited for my VIP bus to Quy Nhon (with a third party). This third party came to pick me up and immediately gave me an attitude about having suitcases when he arrived with a motorcycle to pick me up to the bus station which is insanity. I was upset with that man, NOT with the hotel but the receptionist stood there and I had to convey how distressed I was and practically begged for help because I don’t speak Vietnamese. The receptionist and later the owner, Rosy, blamed me saying that I didn’t book the ticket through them and their attitude was really poor. The owner even tried to lie and say that they’ve only ever received good feedback about their receptionist service. On the Airbnb page, the latest review before me had another guest literally complain about the poor attitude of the receptionist. I have no doubt soon this business will respond and accuse me of being the unreasonable one… but this is the truth and I hope they do better and provide better service, especially since Vietnam is known for hospitality.

Our stay at the hotel has been incredible. We have greatly enjoyed the activities they offered, including the visit to Cham Island and diving. On the other hand, we would like to mention how well we were treated by everyone there. Lastly, we want to thank you for the great pizza made for our farewell. Best regards.

Super cozy hotel with a great atmosphere and a "soul", conveniently located at walking distance from the old town of Hoi An. Brick walls, wood and a perfect design make the place warm and welcoming. Kindness and support by staff are simply amazing. This is definitely the place where to stay in Hoi An.
