The photos look better than they do in real life. The rooms on the first floor are especially sad. The staff were very nice and upgraded us to a garden room with a river view. The beds are a huge plus; they're incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows, but the room itself is uninviting and poorly designed. Another big minus is the poor soundproofing in the rooms and the staff, who don't think about their guests' sleep in the morning. You can hear them talking all morning, watching videos on their phones, the clatter of dishes in the kitchen, and if it rains, the metal roof will rattle. The breakfasts are filling and varied.

Positives: The bed is very comfortable and the hotel is a short walk to the wonderful Non Hue restaurant. Negatives: The room is very small and the bathroom tiny. The photos are misleading. Don't book if you want to sleep past 6am. The kitchen staff arrive and the shouting, banging and grinding wakes everyone up. We were upstairs but could hear it all so I can't imagine how loud it must be in the rooms downstairs closer to the kitchen. The hotel doesn't allow shoes inside. That is mildly annoying but when you are given plastic slippers 5 sizes too big to use it becomes a trip hazard particularly on the stairs.

Normally, the soundproofing of the room is not good. In the morning, the smell of food prepared by the hotel wafts into the room, causing discomfort.

This is a cute little hotel at the end of a laneway and right on the river. We arrived quite a bit earlier than expected and were able to store our bags. When we came back the bags were already in our room, great service! The receptionist when we checked in was pretty pushy about booking tours with her, even going so far to suggest we shouldn't use taxis or grab to get around and only use their car service, which I found a bit off. Our room on the first floor was tiny and crowed with too much furniture so it was difficult to walk around without hitting shins on the bed, but the bed was comfortable and there was a little terrace outside overlooking the river where we sat in the evening. Breakfast was decent, although you have to order the day before and let them know what time you want it. The morning staff were really friendly and the breakfast room is lovely overlooking the river with an indoor/outdoor option with big sliding windows. Taking shoes off is a pain and this was the only hotel that asked us to do this.

One had a bad experience here. First is about the room. The room is too bad compared to the price range. I won't mention the room size because it was mentioned on the website. The air conditioner is set at 18 degrees but it takes nearly half an hour to cool down after it is turned on, and the temperature is not as cool as the heat. air conditioning level displayed; The room's soundproofing is extremely poor. At 11pm, you can clearly hear the sound of other guests' slippers walking up the stairs. At 6pm, you can clearly hear the sound of washing dishes from the staff on the first floor. For breakfast, I ate Hue beef noodle soup and garlic butter bread, mud was ok, but the bread was just ready there and then brought out, soaking it up, not bothering to reheat it for the guests. The room I stayed in also didn't have a view of the Perfume River. The only plus point here is the female receptionist, very friendly and attentive. In general, I don't feel comfortable here.

We arrived late to a full house hence we were given a room on level 1, next to the kitchen and without any view (which was disappointing). The room was not very clean as there were hairs on the bedsheet, pillows and floor, as well as in the toilet. When we told the owner the following day to change our bedsheets, she said ok but we realised its not changed when we returned to our room as the bedsheet had some stains and it was obviously the same one. Also, we asked her help to book bus tickets to Phong Nha and although it was much more expensive, we thought it was fine since she said it's a big bus. However, we realised on the day of our departure that the bus is a SMALL minivan for locals so it was very squeezy with many stops in between. We felt cheated. The redeeming factors of this place is the hotel staff Long who was very helpful and sincere, and the location was good as it's within walking distance to various attractions and the town centre but not right smack in the middle of it. It's along the river and there are various coffee places and restaurants nearby. However, there are better choices around the area and the photos on the website and hotel reservation platforms are probably taken quite a few years back.

Loved my stay here. Very local area just outside the city center, great little market up the street, Con Hen a short walk away, and some beautiful streets in the neighborhood made the location perfect. Loved the little hem the hotel was located down, and right next to the river made the stay very relaxing. Lynn, Huong, and Sen provided excellent service, were friendly, and took good care. I arrived with a stomach bug, and they provided extra care to make sure I was comfortable. With that said, I spent a day pretty much confined to my room while I recovered, and was very cozy. They were also able to arrange a custom tour by motorbike of Hue and the outlying area, and quoted a great price compared to other inquiries. A boat to pick you up for a ride on the Perfume River right from the garden is a huge plus. They were also kind enough to let me freshen up after checking out for a late departure in the evening. I would highly recommend this small hotel, and would definitely stay here again when in Hue. And the breakfasts were superb!

Great little hotel, hidden on the river, just outside the busy traveller’s’ quarter. Cute rooms, clean, good bedding, nice cosy restaurant, generous yummy breakfast, very helpful staff. Did our laundry in a few hours too, for our family of 5 and a week worth of clothes. Helped us organize a dragon boat pick up to the Pagoda and Citadelle, then private car pick up at the restaurant to visit the 3 main Emperors Mausoleums. And it was impeccable. Heads up on the dragon boats, even if they come from the hotel, they will try to sell you loads of stuff, giving the droopy eyes to soften you into high ridiculous prices.

Nice place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to some cheap and tasty food places too. Take a walk thru the lanes on the other side of the street from the villa as there are some pretty gardens to look at.
