Hue Serene Shining Hotel & Spa in Hue

I am very happy with my stay at the Serene Shining Hotel. The rooms were nice and clean with the staff very pleasant and hospitable. The buffet, even though it was small, the food quality was very high. The fruits were fresh and Katherine was very nice.

Only stayed here for one night but it was honestly one of the best hotels we stayed in in Vietnam. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms and bathrooms extremely modern and clean, and the food, both the breakfast in the hotel and the dinner in their sister hotel were delicious. From the moment we walked in we were graciously welcomed and given fresh juice as they tried to find our booking as their was a small problem, but they quickly had everything sorted. They told us about all the different things we could do in Hue which was very helpful, and arranged a taxi to the airport for us as well.

The staff is absolutely wonderful here. They speak very very good English (some of them have almost flawless British accent too) and they are friendly and always keen to help you. That being said I kinda feel that this is an understatement. They had a genuinely kind attitude and first time during our trip in Vietnam we hadn't had the feeling that someone is kind to us only because they want us to buy their product/service. It was such a relaxing experience. They went the extra mile and organized private car, taxi and everything.
The breakfast is wonderful and full of good, tasteful food.
Room was clean, there's a cheap minibar too.

Great hotel very close to the city center, still you get peace and quiet at night. The people were all extremely friendly, helping with your luggage and the rooms were spacy and clean. They even have bathtubs and the water actually gets hot, instead of the lukewarm showers you usually take in Vietnamese hotels in this price category. Breakfast is also included and was quite good. I would recommend this place if you plan a stay in Hue

Our best hotel experience yet in Vietnam. The staff are so attentive and helpful and genuinely want to make the stay as easy as possible for their guests. They will organise anything you need: tours, car transport, reserving train tickets etc...Comfy beds, quiet location but still central, huge breakfast selection, all at a very reasonable price. What's not to like?

Great value for money. Good location, about 15-20min walk to most places of interest, except for thr citadel and the tombs. Room was big and staff very helpful. Nice stay!

Clean and nice hotel for the price you pay. Breakfast was alright. I like the size of the room as it had a lounge. Air con works perfectly. Wifi works alright as well. Would stay again.

Had a fantastic stay here and would like to thank the staff for their attentiveness and helpfulness. The place is tucked away on a quiet side street and is very clean. Can’t beat this value for money anywhere!

great place to stay!! great service. masseuse next door. close to town and the shopping streets. airport shuttle. great rooms. not cheap end of market though. email them for a quote and they will deal. you can also ask them for a package (Halong bay / Sapa etc)
