Rustic decorated rooms mine had a small window with no blind so early sunrise will wake you up but it doesn't bother me, walls are relatively thick and limits noise, great location

Clean, and friendly hotel with pretty rooms, very helpful staff and good motorbikes to rent. Very good choice for the price. Rooms have no heating which may become a problem when it rains and temperatures are low. The location is unspoiled by tourism.

Location was good. Staffs friendly. Room facilities were basic, but ok for the price. Minus point for the interior arrangements whereby privacy was not paid attention to. Also, there was an incident which spoil my mood when the hotwater was turned off at night and as a result we had to endure a cold shower in the chilly morning.

We had a good time here. The atmosphere was mellow and the staff were all really nice. The rooms were clean and the terrace is pretty awesome. Some of the guests were loud and obnoxious but that’s with anywhere you go in Vietnam.

Room was super big and AC worked really well. Beautiful view of the canal/river from the balcony. Situated in a lovely neighborhood that’s peaceful and also nearby the old royal palace. Staff were super friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hue

Had a great experience as 2 backpackers. We stayed for 1 night and had a warm welcome, good breakfast and were given help with bike rental and a map of the city after checking out the next day. The bed was small for a double but the room was clean, the water pressure was strong and it was very quiet despite the convenient inner city location.

Amazing customer service from a family run hotel. Bright hallways with lots of windows. Large rooms with AC and fans. Refreshing pool with pool towels available in the lobby. There are many options for breakfast. Help with tours, taxi, and restaurants. I will stay here again. My only regret was I only stayed 2 nights!

The room was spectacular and great, given the affordable price, it provided everything I needed like free Wifi, smart TV, bath tub, illuminated mirror which could be ideal for those wishing to do make up. And most importantly, the location is strategic. it is near imperial city, the river and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Right on the beautiful beach, we arrived by scooter and parked at the entrance. Fresh fish for a simple and nice cuisine and the juices were real fruit 100% (we got pineapple and mango) and not those watered down drinks we had in more popular places. Lovely light at sunset

Been some time since I was there. The Family that owned the restaurant was nice and very accommodating. The food was very good and the service was great, although I may be a bit biased as our server was my beautiful sister in law. I was with Vietnamese speaking people so there were no issues there. Worth the price of admission especially in the evening!

This is not an easy place for foreigners to get food but the staff sent their daughter who speaks some English who did a great job. They have an English menu and other reviews accuse them of charging more on it, which I would believe, but it was not outrageous. I was recommended the cuttlefish by another foreigner and decided to go with it. I wasn't dissapointed. It was the nicest seafood dish I've had in month's. The view of the seaside while your eating makes the whole experience 10 times better. The price is also very reasonable.

The owner and staff are friendly. The daily rate is 200,000 VND, which is reasonable and pleasant. However, travelers with a lot of luggage may find the lack of an elevator inconvenient. The rooms also have a strong odor, so I wouldn't recommend this to travelers who are sensitive to odors.

Best place to stay for Backpackers. This place is located at center and the places we were suppose to visit were all located at walking distance from this place. The staffs were really great and helpful.

This is the cheapest hotel we stayed in in Vietnam and that is reflected in the fact that it could do with some redecoration. But it is good value for money with large rooms with big windows in a nice quiet location within easy walking distance both of the restaurant area and the main sites.

5 nights here and no complaints. Clean and well maintained. Smiling, happy staff. The man at the counter will welcome you with a song each morning. Convenient to everything, restaurants, shopping, siteseeing. HOT water and a bathtub! Good eats can be found at almost any of the restaurants along the alley, but if you want to eat like the locals go out to the main street and turn right to Hoi An Restaurant

This hotel a not bad, people here are very friendly and less pushing or pretending that Hanoi. Clean with good price. The old city is 10 min walking distance. Is located in a small alley between chops in a "western area" with couple of nice place where to go for a drink.

Upgraded in 2011. Not too old but the equipment is out-of-date. Freezer cannot be used. Clean room in a cheap hotel

Brilliant location, i can find everything i need good taste restaurant and coffee shop or drinking bar nearby. Nice and friendly receptionist. Good price for rooms and hot water was very well. If the lobby with lighter lamp would be better. Everything was awesome for me!

A really great hotel! It's very close to Hue train station and not too far from the Imperial City of Hue. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. Plus, they even give you a complimentary drink voucher for their rooftop sky bar!

This resort gives me a feeling of peace and comfort. The air is very fresh and there are many trees. I really like my room with a view of the Perfume River. The staff are also very enthusiastic and attentive. I am especially impressed with the Hue beef noodle soup, a specialty dish here, it is very delicious. We had a short but great stay at Sankofa resort. We came for healing program, really enjoyable. From the resort, you can enjoy every moment of nature, over looking perfume river that makes you feel fresh. Absolutely recommended

I had the good fortune to spend 10 days at Sankofa Resort on a retreat. Everything about our stay was perfect. The cabins were lovely, the resort and grounds were equipped with everything and more that your heart can dream of. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The staff was great and went above and beyond to help me in every way. The customer service was truly amazing. You can’t walk to Hue from the hotel; you will need a car. However, if you want to stay in a more natural and quieter location, this hotel is good. I also received a spa service and was very happy with the spa.

The resort is very spacious and has a beautiful landscape. Will be back if there is a chance. A bit old but very worth staying because the view is very beautiful.

Good service in a great hotel. Our room overlooked a noisy street, so we asked to change our room to the other side, the staff did it very quickly and without unnecessary questions and even gave a room of a higher class. Everything is great in the room, good internet, soft bed. The breakfast at the hotel is just superb, food for every taste.

Pretty over priced if I’m honest, the cleanlines standards were not great for a hotel. Mould in the curtains and in the bathroom. Bed was quite uncomfortable at times. WiFi didn’t work in my room or at the pool. However was a spacious room, great location and nice pool with great views. Not bad but I’m sure there would be better options out there around the same price
