Ngoc Tung Hotel in Ho Chi Minh

After finishing my trip to Can Tho, Vietnam, I was looking for a cheap room for my last day in Ho Chi Minh City. I booked this hotel.
Booking locally was cheaper than booking on Trip.com, and the room was only for two people, so I made a reservation for two, but the counter wouldn't let me change it to one.
I was assigned a room and given a key. They actually gave me the air conditioning remote as a key for room 209. I went up to my room without thinking, but oh my, there was no key. The doorknob was broken. The room was a mess, and it smelled musty. I was afraid I'd get robbed if I went out. So I went back to the counter and told them about the unsightly room condition. I canceled my reservation and requested a refund from the male staff member. He apologized.
He said he'd accept my request if I requested a refund through the Trip.com app, but I still haven't received a refund. I'm so angry.

The hotel receptionist has inconsistent words, is it because they charge above the guests??

I booked a room for my parents from the countryside because the hotel next to where I live was chosen by my family. After my parents checked in, I stopped by to go up to the room to give them their things and take them out for dinner, but the receptionist didn't let me go up to the room and asked for an additional 50k fee to visit them. I said ok but I would rate the service here as bad, so the receptionist turned around and asked for 100k!! After only 20 seconds, the price was changed.

I couldn't stand it anymore and asked if there was a price list or any hotel rule that if relatives come to visit, they would be charged? They couldn't answer, but they insisted on charging 100k. I asked to turn on the camera because 20 seconds ago that person said 50k and now you deny saying 50k, so you said: I won't open it!

I asked to meet the manager and call my mother down if it couldn't be resolved, I would check out of the room at that time to take my parents away (although I had paid more than 400k for the room in full when I booked through the app)
When the receptionist didn't dare to call the manager and said that they misunderstood that I was staying and told me to go up (before that I emphasized that I was going to the room to bring my things and take my parents out for dinner 3,4l)
I hope the hotel manager will review the quality of service. The room price is not cheap but the service attitude here is VERY UNSATISFIED!!!!

It was the most expensive room, but there were a lot of ants and they didn't do a proper cleaning service. I was lucky I stayed alone. It would have been embarrassing if I had stayed with someone else. There was no English at all in the information, so communication was impossible.

This place is nasty…I do not recommend to anyone. Mattress is dirty as well as the pillow. Room was smelly no one available to clean the room daily. Overall 1 star is the most I give

That was horrible experience. Noise from the boats at the river didnt let me sleep all night. Mirrors next to your head in bed is horrible idea. All smelled like cigarette. Room looked more like an ashtray than the hotel . FIRST ROOM WHAT they gave, the clean bed was full of hair. Locals bring prostitutes there and you can hear that really loud . People on the reception are nice and helpful. For 12$ you can find better.
