Hotel Tirona in Durres

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel 🩷
Even though the hotel is not new, everything is very well maintained: clean, neat, with renovated interiors and good, solid furniture. The rooms are spacious, bright, and very clean. Cleanliness deserves special mention — it was truly at a high level, and we even left extra tips for the housekeeper because of her great work.

There is a nice restaurant on the ground floor. The breakfasts were not very varied, but they were available — simple, minimal, yet very well thought out. The biggest advantage is that you don’t have to think about breakfast in the morning — everything is already organized, which is very convenient. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We would also like to especially mention the hotel owner. We only met him once, but he helped us a lot and left a very positive impression.

Another big plus is the private beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas included.

Overall, we really liked this hotel. It is not expensive or pretentious, but calm, cozy, and family-friendly — exactly what you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We were very satisfied with our stay.

We came to Durrës for a family vacation and stayed at the Hotel Tirona. At first, we were hesitant, but we trusted the online reviews and chose this hotel. Now, I’d like to share my experience in detail to help others.
Staff: The staff was extremely understanding, helpful, and friendly. Throughout our stay, they supported us in many ways, always responding with a smile and quick assistance.
Cleanliness: One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is definitely how clean it is. During our entire stay, we did not see a single bug or any dirt. Our room was meticulously cleaned daily, and everything was spotless. The staff does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness.
• Restaurant: The hotel’s restaurant is located on the ground floor and offers amazing food and service. I especially recommend trying their pizza and fish dishes, which are both delicious and beautifully presented.
• Location: The hotel is conveniently located for vacationers. One side faces the beach, and the other opens onto streets filled with shops and markets. While staying here, you definitely won’t need a car. Along the beach promenade, you’ll find restaurants, cafés, and playgrounds for children, making the hotel a great choice for families.
• Transportation and amenities: You absolutely don’t need to rent a car. Once you arrive by taxi from the airport, everything you might need—from markets and pharmacies to cafés and ice cream shops—is within walking distance. However, if you do rent a car, the hotel has its own parking area.

I had some doubts about coming all the way from America, but the hospitality and quality of service here completely changed my mind.

We are already planning another vacation in Durrës and definitely want to stay at Hotel Tirona again. Many thanks to the management and staff of the hotel for their excellent service!

The hotel is located on the seafront. Private beach with free sun loungers and umbrellas for hotel guests. The food is excellent and fresh. The friendly staff and the owner of the hotel are always at your service. I recommend. I will come back next summer.

The hotel is on the beach with a private beach. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is remarkable. The beach is sandy. There are many coffee bars and restaurants nearby.

Very cool hotel, very friendly staff, speak English, daily cleaning, change towels, air conditioning, great sea view from the balcony.
