However, elevators were slow, also our balcony overlooked the pool area, and every night it was loud music and noise until the very late time, so, we could not get asleep. Not much working here Air conditioning did not work. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. Beach towels you had to pay for everyday. Staff was either ignorant or did not speak English. Nice stop in Durres. Rooms are fine and breakfast was adequate. The staff are also really nice however we didn’t have a good start as they couldn’t find our booking and said we had no reservation with them. Great place to visit. Not sure if because its off season or if its the way in Albania but there was no sense of urgency from anyone. We ate once in the restaurant and the food was okay, it was very quiet so you would have thought the service to be better. Breakfast buffet starts at 730am but all the hot food was cold by 830 and clearly not cycled through for hygiene so just be careful.

The overall impression is good, it's the Balkans - Albania from the airport is literally "crammed" with people and cars, as well as the transfer traffic jams on the highway. Unloading luggage from the bus in the middle of full traffic is literally a stunt.
