The location is great as it’s very close to the beach, but if your room is at the highway it’s extremely noisy

That was a big problem! No tranquility !!!!! also another problem! PROBLEM WITH THE SEA WATER !!!! the sea water was BROWN AND DIRTY

During our stay the staff was really good with good English so we had no issues communicating. The outside shower next to the beach is broken so we had our room full of sand, but the cleaning staff always vacuumed

I could not swim in this dirty water! ONLY THE WATER IN THE POOL IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, VERY CLEAN !!!

Amazing and affordable food I don’t think you can get that kind of food around Exceptional and very tasty You can smell the authenticity of albanian food I invite everyone to book this hotel for the family vacation

The hotel was great, the food was okay. Only complaint I had was with the snack options during the stay as it isn't really well organized. We came 15 minutes after it started and it was mostly empty

We had already booked accomodation nearby and saw the restaurant when out walking. The restaurant team were lovely, they allowed us to bring our dog inside (out of the rain) and couldn't be friendlier

The hotel offers a beautiful view and is very clean – rooms are cleaned daily with regular towel and bed linen changes. The beach staff is extremely friendly, and the food is decent, although a bit repetitive

The food was great, the restaurant warm and staff attentive and helpful. Just wish we had known how great they were before we booked our other accommodation. We would have definitely preferred Amara hotel

All the team Mary Ann, Olga and Olga are always smiley and happy to help. The massages provided are amazing and also the spa areas are so private, calming and inspiring. its always has been a unique experience for me

Bit weird to drive on a bike path to get to the parking area though plenty of parking and free. Check in was sime enough and staff were friendly enough. Pool was not open due to an issue which was a shame

The rooms were clean and very comfortable stay. Was over as part of a large group of England football fans going to watch the game against Albania, was half expecting a bit of hostility but was given the exact opposite

One of the few to have its own swimming pool in the Durrës beach area. Service is amazing as the staff are eager to help and most can speak multiple languages. Big family trip and had so much fun

Not in the centre of Durres, but has plenty of possibilities. Swimming pool is good and private. Cleaned daily! Staff is very friendy. Joel makes very good cocktails. Ask him for the specials and be surprised

Very nice hotel at the coastline in Durrës. The room was very nice with balcony and a big bathroom. The beach is just across the road and the sun-chairs is free when you’re staying at the hotel

If you want best of both worlds, this is the place. 2 minutes walk to the beach, without the rowdiness of beach front hotels. Still has a private beach access

We had interconnecting rooms which were absolutely huge and beutifully decorated with a large balcony with pool/sea view. Cleaners came every day so rooms were always tip top

We were b&b so enjoyed a lovely breakfast but also had the option to pay for our evening meal, which we did most nights as it was really good with a great choice and only cost us around £50

The staff were so welcoming and friendly ,they never got tired of supporting us. The rooms are so spacious and very clean. The gardens are beautiful with a cool and calm environment

Location is handy for local shops (5min walk) and bus to Durres which cost 4p!! Staff and management were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us

The rooms are great, extremely clean every day, the sea view is fantastic (day and night), parking in the back, umbrellas, breakfast, everything that you could ask for if you’re looking for a vacation on a nice beach with nice sand and clean water! 10/10 I will visit again!

Our vacation was amazing! 😁 everyone is very kind, the rooms are clean and nice, as a guest you get two sunbeds and an umbrella at the beach which is right in front of the hotel

My room was also facing the seaside so the views were quite breathtaking. The adjacent beach offered crystal-clear water and clean sand. The atmosphere was also very special that it really felt like home

I have been here solo, have enjoyed every moment of it. I felt very safe even at the beach you don’t have to worry about your belongings. Even though is September sea water is warm as well as the weather

Simply great, we were very satisfied with the service in the pool bar and (kids club) the cleanliness and the child-friendly atmosphere with the lady Gamze in the (kids club) she was very friendly and kind to all guests and children, very entertaining, we had a lot of fun

Unfortunately I have to criticize the service on the beach, unfortunately in my opinion there was little drink spending in terms of staff and the cleanliness was not 100% to my satisfaction

Great rooms and a good view of the coast. Room service ,valet parking. Workers speak foreign languages. Has a bar & restaurant on site. Its one of the most expensive places around here but it's worth it at the end.

Rooms very good standard, spacious and clean, with air conditioning. During our 10 days stay, there was 1 power outage for 2 hours, and 3-4 times there was no water for 1-2 hours

Clean. Right on the beach. Good food. No all-inclusive option which is exploitedby the hotel: the pool is an extra charge! €10 per person per day!! Hence it was empty mostly.

Durres The most expensive hotel on our 6 day trip , the worst split unit Air conditioner above the bed. Extra payment needed for swimming pool and beach , but both poor

The hotel is placed right next to the beach and has a parking lot included which was great since we were travelling with car. The rooms were very functional, a little bit worn down, but clean and tidy

At dinner we were served scraps of fried fish - only heads and tails. I wonder what they do with the better parts. The rooms are pretty fine, however the beach is magnificent with clear and warm water

I visited Al Osete De Amr for dinner. Delicious chicken, pistachio risotto and soufflé. Looking at the sunset in this restaurant was surreal experience. "Erjon" my server made this more welcoming and memorable. Cheers

location atmosphere and rooms is good ,value is perfect but clean not so the cleaners didn’t clean our room like 2 days until i asked them ,service at restaurant is perfect but the food may change some days cause i go crazy with same good nice hotel but you may change food and fire the cleaners and get good cleaners

The pool is cleaned every day. Neat and with a considerable number of sun loungers. The beach is not far from the hotel

The beachfront location is simply stunning, waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying the view right from the hotel is an experience on its own

We have sat by the pool and in the main dining room, and all the locations are very comfortable. Everything at Royal has been great, but the service really puts it over the top

Would have been 5 star but few little niggles to share in the hope they can be corrected for others. As early in season none of the swimming pools were open. Again when asked when due to be open very vague responses

The location was far from Tirana city centre, this made it cost consuming as we spend more money on transportation to Tirana city centre everyday.

The overall impression is good, it's the Balkans - Albania from the airport is literally "crammed" with people and cars, as well as the transfer traffic jams on the highway

The beach had very comfortable sunbeds and plenty of umbrellas available for guests, however they do not provide beach towels. There is also a lovely pool area at the hotel

Very tricky to access the sea here, lots of rocks, you need to walk 15-20 minutes and then you get to a nice beach. All pebbles so bring your aqua shoes. Receptionists and staff all very friendly

30 mins drive to Himare for cave swimming and another nice beach. 20 mins drive to Dhermi for very posh restaurants. Room was very new and very nice. Power shower and comfortable bed

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. A 5-minute walk across the road took you to the hotel’s private beach which has a beach bar with very friendly staff

My son had pizza, I had seafood spaghetti and my husband had seabass with fries on the side. The problem was all of the dishes came very much a part from each other
