I have to especially thank Mrs. Eva at the reception, who is amazing and made me choose this hotel. I would not like to forget Mrs. Lindita and Flutura, who contribute to the great cleanliness of the hotel

I have to mention, I do have issues with different accents (as i also have a very thick accent in English) but the girl at the reception, Etleva, has been so patient and followed my way of speaking

Unlike other hotels in Durres, this hotel has one of the best service coordination, the food left me speechless (BIG fan of their seafood) and the room is tidy and always clean

If I will ever return to Durres I will make sure to come back herr again and ofc suggest this amazing hotel to my family and friends

Hello all, Currently staying at the hotel, as I am on a bussiness trip at the moment. I have to say, so far im highly impressed

They will try to rip you off and make you pay for the towel (10€) even though we were guests at the hotel. This lead to unpleasant conversations and nearly arguing in front of other beach goers

The hotel offers a beautiful view and is very clean – rooms are cleaned daily with regular towel and bed linen changes. The beach staff is extremely friendly, and the food is decent, although a bit repetitive

The food was great, the restaurant warm and staff attentive and helpful. Just wish we had known how great they were before we booked our other accommodation. We would have definitely preferred Amara hotel

We had already booked accomodation nearby and saw the restaurant when out walking. The restaurant team were lovely, they allowed us to bring our dog inside (out of the rain) and couldn't be friendlier

If you are lucky you will be served by the best waiter probably in the entire world. The quality of the service was fantastic. Staff is very helpful and friendly

Nice rooms, reasonable breakfast. The strongest suit is how amazing the staff are, from reception, to housekeeping to waiters and kitchen staff

I couldn’t believe how great the sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and pool were fantastic, making it an absolute highlight of my trip. But what really stood out was the team here

The beach was beautiful, the pool was great, sunbeds on the beach were also okay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The food was indeed not very high-flown, but I think it was not the worst either

The rooms were clean and very comfortable stay. Was over as part of a large group of England football fans going to watch the game against Albania, was half expecting a bit of hostility but was given the exact opposite

If you’re coming to Albania and want a top-tier hotel to stay with superb facilities, great comfort, and warm hospitality, this is a place you should consider. Highly recommended — and I’ll be back!

Our room was on the 3rd floor, with plenty of space, a top-notch bathroom, and a very nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the Adriatic Sea

The food was superb, both the open-buffet breakfast in the mornings, and the dinners by the pool

Very nice hotel at the coastline in Durrës. The room was very nice with balcony and a big bathroom. The beach is just across the road and the sun-chairs is free when you’re staying at the hotel

We had the seafood salad with octopus, squid, and calamari, and it's worth coming back for sure! The staff members were all very kind and friendly

A very chilled out vibe around the pool (which is the cleanest and freshest pool we've ever swam in, albeit a little cold due to the season)

We had interconnecting rooms which were absolutely huge and beutifully decorated with a large balcony with pool/sea view. Cleaners came every day so rooms were always tip top

Bar in restaurant only had one flat prosecco which I sent back as it was vile. They said that they had no alternative. One of the swimming pools was thick with stagnant algi and pute green, so we couldnt use it

The hotel has it's own beach which is a good thing because you dont have to move around looking for one. The aqua zumba that was conducted by Joel ,was so amazing ,filled with joy ,fun and relaxing

Wonderful hotel! It's not very big, but cosy and very clean (especially the restaurant, the rooms and the lobby). Location is just on the front line at the Adriatic sea. The pool is also very nice and clean

The hotel is very good and it was definitely worth it a few years ago, but now the owner has changed and many things have changed as well

At the buffet, there were some items missing in August 2025, and the hygiene was not at the same level as it was in 2022–2023. The swimming pool was also not as clean as before. My children got sick from the dirty water

The hotel has a pool, and our room was clean and had a beautiful sea view. It was a relaxing and pleasant stay overall

But the cleaning staff hasn't changed our bedding the whole time we stayed there, nor did we get clean towels. Breakfast was the same everyday and only small changes at the dinner menu

Only 2 members of staff spoke english. We were allowed to the pool only until 5 pm. Not sure i will ever recommend this place

Hotel was nice but the shower is by the toilet and there is no barrier so everytime you shower you have to dry everything and all your towels will be very wet. You can't kkep the toilet paper roll near toilet

The restaurant is really amazing, loved all the delicious dishes! We will never forget the taste of pizza! (We haven't tried it even in Italy) Special thanks to Mara, Elsie, Violetta and the whole wonderful team of Alion! You made our holiday the best!

Front desk and restaurant people were great and helpful. The beach section look sooo sad in the off season. Didn't know about the small playground on the beach in front of the hotel. Only one for miles (can get noisy)

Simply great, we were very satisfied with the service in the pool bar and (kids club) the cleanliness and the child-friendly atmosphere with the lady Gamze in the (kids club) she was very friendly and kind to all guests and children, very entertaining, we had a lot of fun

We also tried the pizza, and it was delicious, with the perfect crust and fresh toppings. The service was really good too, everyone was kind and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality

I have been here solo, have enjoyed every moment of it. I felt very safe even at the beach you don’t have to worry about your belongings. Even though is September sea water is warm as well as the weather

The reception service is 10/10. The girls working there were the nicest and the most helpful girls ever and helped me with everything i asked them for. Would definitely come again next summer

From all the restaurants I’ve been to in Dürres, Belconti has honestly been the best. The Greek salad was amazing, the vegetables were super fresh and you could really taste the difference

Great rooms and a good view of the coast. Room service ,valet parking. Workers speak foreign languages. Has a bar & restaurant on site. Its one of the most expensive places around here but it's worth it at the end.

Rooms very good standard, spacious and clean, with air conditioning. During our 10 days stay, there was 1 power outage for 2 hours, and 3-4 times there was no water for 1-2 hours

Clean. Right on the beach. Good food. No all-inclusive option which is exploitedby the hotel: the pool is an extra charge! €10 per person per day!! Hence it was empty mostly.

Not much working here Air conditioning did not work. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. Beach towels you had to pay for everyday. Staff was either ignorant or did not speak English

Durres The most expensive hotel on our 6 day trip , the worst split unit Air conditioner above the bed. Extra payment needed for swimming pool and beach , but both poor

I visited Al Osete De Amr for dinner. Delicious chicken, pistachio risotto and soufflé. Looking at the sunset in this restaurant was surreal experience. "Erjon" my server made this more welcoming and memorable. Cheers

The location is perfect, just steps from the beach and close to the city’s highlights, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and overall quality made our stay unforgettable

location atmosphere and rooms is good ,value is perfect but clean not so the cleaners didn’t clean our room like 2 days until i asked them ,service at restaurant is perfect but the food may change some days cause i go crazy with same good nice hotel but you may change food and fire the cleaners and get good cleaners

The first day we did not have enough towels. There is no safe and tea and coffee making facilities. If possible, take a room on the higher floors because there are buildings with about 7 floors around

The pool is cleaned every day. Neat and with a considerable number of sun loungers. The beach is not far from the hotel

Basic but everything we needed. Asked for blanket n received straightaway! Staff are polite but not over friendly in my experience. Breakfast is adequate and the location is perfect for beach n exploring Durres

The weather is gr8 so we booked in for a few more days! Keep in mind the price you are paying n maybe a please n thank you in there language wouldn’t go unappreciated. Enjoy your budget holiday!!!

Dinner is a set menu and again adequate but for the price I’ve paid for half board I would not have the cheek to complain

The AC in the room sometimes malfunctioned, but the cleanliness was good and the beach and pool were excellent. If I return to Albania I will not stay at this hotel

Bit weird to drive on a bike path to get to the parking area though plenty of parking and free. Check in was sime enough and staff were friendly enough. Pool was not open due to an issue which was a shame

All the team Mary Ann, Olga and Olga are always smiley and happy to help. The massages provided are amazing and also the spa areas are so private, calming and inspiring. its always has been a unique experience for me

Fabulous hotel, very very clean, food was good, rooms were spotless and the maid service was great. Only downside would be the amount of work going on in the area but obviously this is to improve the area

I am a recurrent client at Amara Spa. Its always a warm welcoming from the spa team with absolute great service. The Amara Spa manager Mrs Alexandra is exeptional person and very professional

The food is so delicious and the service is exellent. Our children likr do much the soups that eat. The view is so relaxed and a good weather. Our children plays with toys and laugh so much

The staff were very nice and always happy to help, the hotel itself is beautiful and the spread at breakfast is delicious. I only wish I came in warmer weather to swim in the outdoor pool

Cons: spa terrible we got eye iches the water was so chemical, pool is for kids but hotel has limitted time which I do not like it as my priority is my kids. Also the floor in the pool is very dangerous be careful

My stay at Royal G Deluxe Hotel & Spa in Durres was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism that instantly made me feel at home

We have sat by the pool and in the main dining room, and all the locations are very comfortable. Everything at Royal has been great, but the service really puts it over the top

We did not stay at the hotel, but have had some excellent meals at their restaurant. I kicked off my weekend-long birthday celebration with the seafood platter for four, and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly

Additionally, the shower does not have a door, and since the shower area is completely open, it is almost impossible to avoid getting water outside and making a bit of a mess

Would have been 5 star but few little niggles to share in the hope they can be corrected for others. As early in season none of the swimming pools were open. Again when asked when due to be open very vague responses
