Sol Invictus Boutique Hotel in Durres

It's a scam. The staffs clearly informed that all that was put online is for advertising purposes. You have to pay to use the pool, lodged into another hotel and told to eat in another of the hotels. It's a shamble. Please don't waste your money and time

We booked one week in this hôtel with my girlfriend in Septembre and it was the worst hôtel de ever experienced. Unfortunately we didnt look thé Google/trip advisor reviews before and we should have because all the reviews are true and shared thé same experience. First, we check-in and they ask us to pay almost 500€ tax (on our réservation it was said that WE had to pay 265€ when WE arrive at thé hôtel). Hopefully WE were with an albanian Friend who lives there and After arguing with them they finally acceptés thé 265€. Then they tell us that the room we reserved is not available because they put other people in it (WE booked thé confort luxury room with view on the sea) and that the day After they would give us the right room. So indtead of giving us a better room, they gave us a shorty disgusting room (see pictures). Everything was dirty and broken, even thé towels were dirty... No hot water in thé shower ! Thé day After they changed pur room, it was better but very small compared to the one we booked and no view on thé sea in this hôtel... We took the breakfast + dinner included. The dinner was ok but the breakfast was only cols eggs and some tasteless buffet. We have to order the coffee at the bar and only one coffee free for breakfast, WE had to pay the coffee if WE wanted more... The hôtel is very dirty and they didnt clean our room or change the sheets for 8 days ! When you ask for clean towels or toilet papier they look at you liké you are disturbing them. Also, they Say on the website that there IS a swimming pool, spa, fitness, etc. There IS no swimming pool, thé spa is closes and there IS no fitness either... No activities described on the website were available... Finally, the manager and all the staff members are very rude and they Never smile. When we wanted to talk to the manager and the receptionnist they laughed at us and said that they did not Care... AVOID THIS PLACE !!! For what matters, avoid Albania. Go to Turkey, Croatia or Grèce instead. Nothing interesting and rude people.

Scam scam scam! Nothing like their description. Stay far away! No pool, no private beach for free, no Seaview rooms. They will charge you a fake tax on arrival. They will charge you parking even though it says included. So many upset people at hotel.

Awful. AC went out every single day, the hot water was in and out, the internet barely worked. WALK AWAY DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE. The staff is friendly enough, but I should have known when I arrived and everyone was complaining about the same issues I am having. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Duras, a black shop, was actually protected by Ctrip. When placing the order, he had already paid the full amount. After arriving at the hotel, he had to pay at least 25 euros per person per night. And blatantly said, my quotation is low, and I have to increase the price. Complaint to Ctrip on the 19th, 3 days, no compensation. Ctrip is no longer what it used to be. Even Qunar and Tongcheng can't accommodate such a famous merchant. Ctrip actually acted as his umbrella.

The price is not what was paid or posted. Yes, an established price of 61 euros, I had to pay 48 euros (taxes) more. With 100 euros I found a much better place.
Bad maintenance of the premises.
Dirty bedsheets (when I said this, room changed) even in the new room, the bedsheets weren't freshly laundered but didn't look used.
Poorly maintained bathrooms.
Safe without batteries and in any case installation on the cabinet panel. (Easy to take away together with the furniture panel)
Security deposit of 100 euros.
