Olivia's Hill Resort in Durres

We stayed in a clean room located in a fairly quiet area. The suite was spacious and featured a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the water. As we happened to be the first guests of the year, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade, which made our stay even more special.

There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The hairdryer did not heat up very well, so drying hair took quite some time. Additionally, the shower does not have a door, and since the shower area is completely open, it is almost impossible to avoid getting water outside and making a bit of a mess.

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was enjoyable, especially the honey produced on-site, which had a delicious taste and a unique texture compared to what you usually find.

The location is somewhat unusual. To reach the beach, you need to cross a highway, which can take a while if you are on foot. However, since we were not primarily there for the beach and had a car, this was not an issue for us.

My stay at Olivia’s Hill Hotel was absolutely wonderful! 🌸 The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, kind, and always smiling, which made every day special and full of positive energy. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location near the sea is a huge advantage for anyone seeking rest and relaxation.

The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool, and its location is perfect for peaceful seaside walks. This place has a unique atmosphere and warm, welcoming energy that makes you feel at home from the very first moment.

I will always remember my time here with great fondness, and I’m sure I’ll return to Albania to discover more beautiful places — but I will definitely choose Olivia’s Hill again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Have stayed 4 times in the last 18 months and we are already planning our visit next year!
The location is great, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are like sleeping on clouds and the ambiance is just perfect 👌🏼
The staff in the hotel; from the housekeeping staff to the manager are all extremely friendly and welcoming and so polite… nothing is too much for them.
We had the amazing experience of being around the pool when one of the cats gave birth to her litter of kittens and it was such a lovely experience.
Special thanks to Klaudio for making us feel so welcome, it really does feel like coming home when I visit now 🥰

We had the most amazing stay at Olivia’s Hill ! I would recommend this resort to anyone, you have many hotels around but this one is by far the best choice. Olivia’s hill stand out by its beautiful garden, quiet and peaceful area. The restaurant is excellent and local. The room are perfect. I’ll finish by thanking all the staff who were just amazing and doing their best and most. Thank you to all the Olivia’s staff who made our stay very special and unforgettable.

Great Hotel

My first time in Albania with my family. Having never met an Albanian before in my life, I was not sure how the holiday will be. From day 1 to day 6, Claudio (the resort owner) and his amazing team made a life long great impression of their people with an exceptionally good service. Whether it was the pool side, the restaurant, the garden, the reception, etc. the staff was super helpful and friendly. This country has so many beautiful attractions for foreigners and people like Claudio and his staff are the reasons why I'll come back. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is neat and clean too. The food menu is small but every dish was tasty. I wish them the very best.

Worth every minute and more
Absolutely loved every part of our stay from the balcony in our room to the comfortable beds. The pool was outdoors and not temperature controlled but it was still very well kept and super clean. We still can not stop thinking about the AMAZING breakfast. It was included with our stay which isn't even mentioned here but it was a great added incentive and no other breakfasts have compared since our travels. I would go back to Albania just to stay here again, honestly. I have so much more to say because I really did love this place and the people and everything else it came with.
