Hotel Gjirokastra in Gjirokaster

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The property is stunning, and the owners are incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, excellent AC, and a huge bathroom with a fantastic shower. We originally planned to stay just one night, but loved it so much that we extended for another night.

The pool was beautiful—a perfect escape from the summer heat—and we really enjoyed swimming and socializing with other guests.

The location is ideal! Everything you need is within a 5-minute walk, and the hotel offers free parking. The drive up is a bit challenging due to steep, older roads, but the experience and views more than make up for it.

Breakfast was extensive and delicious. We would definitely stay here again and again. This was the best place we stayed in Albania—we loved every minute of it!

Lovely owners go out of their way to help. Rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is excellent. Easy access to everything in the old town.

We were only going to stay overnight to escape the rainstorm and lightning in Sarande. We like the place and the wonderful hospitality that we extended to 4 nights. The hosts are truly amazing.

The room was good size. We arrived in the evening and checking was straightforward.

They were very responsive on the booking.com app. The place was clean but the bathroom wasnt well sealed- so water after a shower leaked everywhere. Excellent parking directly outside the hotel.

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful location! This family run hotel is exceptional, the staff are so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. It’s in an excellent location in Gjirokaster, we had a great view from our hotel room. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with air conditioning and really nice amenities. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough :)

Nice and clean rooms. Excellent location right in the heart of the old town. Traditional breakfast with pan cakes and honey, fried eggs with feta cheese and homemade biscuits. Family business that make you feel like home.
