Hotel Bebej Tradicional in Gjirokaster

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Maradona was an excellent host and prepared a great breakfast for me. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and facilities. If you need a place to stay in Gjirokastër, look no further than here!

Really nice place to stay in Gjirokaster! We felt very welcome, the breakfast was good, the room was comfortable.

The main attractions are 10/15 minutes away walking.

My experience here was truly outstanding. Maradona, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He’s incredibly accommodating and genuinely cares about making your stay special. The complimentary pickup and drop-off service was a fantastic bonus that really set this place apart. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was both beautiful and spotlessly clean with A/C. It's also walking distance from the main attractions.

I honestly couldn’t find a single fault, even if I tried. I'm just sorry I didn't stay for longer. I would highly recommend staying here - it exceeded all expectations.

I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Bebej Tradicional. The room was beautifully decorated in a traditional style — very stylish, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, with a great shower.

The location itself was excellent — it’s situated on a hilltop, so walking to the city center was no problem at all, especially since part of the way is downhill. At night it was very quiet, and during the day — especially in the morning — you could hear birds singing, which made the atmosphere really peaceful and pleasant.

A big plus goes to the owner — he was very kind and welcoming, always checking if everything was okay. He helped me park the car and also helped me get it out when I was leaving.

One amazing service he offers is free rides to the city center or the castle — and back as well! Just note that this service is available until 10 PM. I used it and he kindly drove me up to the castle. That was super helpful.

Breakfast was rich and delicious, and the host prepared everything quickly and with care. A great stay in every way!

We had the pleasure of staying here and would recommend it to everyone. The location is great, only a short 10 minute walk to town. The room itself is spacious, very comfortable and nicely decorated.

Maradona was an excellent and welcoming host. His customer service was perfect and went beyond what he needed. He would offer to pick us up and drop us to town each day. He even booked our bus from town to the main bus terminal when we were leaving and paid for our tickets!

The breakfast made by his wife each morning was also lovely.

Totally clean, perfect service. Free parking, breakfast was included. Maradonna is very helpful. I really recommend this place! The view was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed a good traditional dinner. There s also a free shuttle service to the city

What a great host! He was so kind, drive us to the town, helped us with everything. Uniqe service! We highly recommend! The room has a great vibe, it was clear, and beautiful. Sweet and tasty breakfast. They also offer dinner, every meal only for 2€, for their guests! And thats great ☺️

With no doubt we would say Hotel Bebej is the best place to stay in the city. Do not worry about anything! Maradona will take care of it (hotel owner) 1. Picked me up from the bus stop for free and proactively 2. Dropped me to the Old town and picked me up from Old town at night in a very short notice for free 3. Dropped me at the Castle (for free of course :)) 4. Told me the location where I should eat and no wonder it was the best rated place to eat on TripAdvisor 5. Everyone knows Maradona in Gjirokaster 6. Maradona and his family manages the hotel and they are all lovely 7. Helped me reach the bus stop to catch the bus to Tirana Which hotel does all this for their guest? Breakfast: You will love it. Location: 15 minutes walk to the old town, but you wont have to walk as Maradona will drop you and pick you up Room was big and comfortable. I slept like a baby.

Just 15 minutes of walk to the castle of Gjirokastra. And the owner offered also free transport . Clean rooms and an extreme quiet ,made our staying unforgettable. Typical South Albanian dishes offered at the restaurant downstairs. Highly recommended
