We were upgraded to a Seaview room with a large balcony, which we really appreciated. The manager Maja was excellent and very helpful, she also arranged a taxi on our departure. The room had a good view over the bay (although there was a derelict hotel just opposite the apartments)... the room was a reasonable size, however I found the bed uncomfortable as I could feel the springs in the mattress. There was a fridge with a compact area on top to make tea and coffee. There were a couple of bottles of water and some beer in the fridge which you could purchase... in general the accomodation needs some tlc and renovating. It is only 10 minutes from the old town, supermarket and shops. The bus stop is only 15 minutes walk.

What a fabulous place to stay a few nights or a few weeks, like I did. Location, cleanness, service, very friendly helpful staff... this place has it all. Maja is doing a great job taking care of guests of Swiss Residente, even the most demanding ones, like myself :-)
Beliana - who is only there during the high season - is very helpful and pleasant, always there to assist.
Very happy I stayed there on my arrival to HN. Highly recommended.

A Brutal Climb, Not a Hotel Stay. Avoid Unless You're an Athlete! I am a 60-year-old man, and I am not in the best physical shape. I booked this hotel for what I hoped would be a relaxing stay. It turned into an absolute nightmare of physical endurance that I was not prepared for. The ordeal started with the parking, which is non-existent. After circling the area, I finally found a spot far away. Then, I discovered the first challenge: the reception is on the second floor. To check in, I had to drag my and my wife suitcases up three long, steep flights of stairs. I was already exhausted and winded before I even got my room key. But the worst was yet to come. They assigned me a room on the second floor... of the hotel. This meant another FOUR flights of stairs. In total, from the street to my room, I had to haul myself and my luggage up eight flights of stairs. It was nearly a four-story climb! I must say, the staff at the reception desk were very polite and smiled kindly. But that's where the help ended. No one offered to assist with the luggage. I carried it all the way up, and when it was time to leave, I had to carry it all the way back down. Honestly, it's a miracle I didn't have a heart attack. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to anyone who isn't a young, fit athlete in training. If you have any mobility issues, are older, travel with heavy bags, or simply don't want your vacation to feel like a punishing workout, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It was a dreadful experience.

We loved everything about our stay! The ladies at the hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming, the room was really clean and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was amazing!
The location is perfect, central enough that you can get everywhere walking, and also quiet enough at night to have a restful sleep. The beach is really close, which for Herceg Novi is quite an achievement -- it's pretty much a city of stairs :).
We had a wonderful time and we are definitely coming back!

The view is worth a million, if you take a room for two with a balcony, the bay is super visible. Very nice service, a nice girl Maya is always ready to help. The room for two is cramped, there are some disadvantages. In general, depending on how you look at it, the city is very close to the sea too. There is an Italian restaurant nearby. There is a noisy street below, if it does not bother you, go.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked up the steps, Maya could not have been more welcoming. She kindly upgraded me to a side sea view room with a balcony which was fantastic and had the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There was a fridge and mini kitchen area with plates, kettle etc which was perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk into town. Would also recommend taking the steps or road down to the promenade where there are restaurants and you can walk along the coastline. Only minor gripe was that I couldn’t get the TV to work (there was only one remote whereas the instructions referred to two).
