Prestige Resort in Golem

stayed here for 4 nights as a couple, and the whole experience was a mess. Nothing is as good as it looks. At check-in, we were treated poorly and told to wait in our car until it was “our time,” even though we were already exhausted from traveling. The worst part happened at check-out: despite being clearly informed that we still had one more hour, we went to the aqua park to shower. When we returned, the cleaning staff had already entered our room without permission, taken all of our clothes and personal belongings, and dumped them outside the door. This is a serious violation of privacy. When we complained, they coldly said it was “their job.” We were forced to leave without showering, stressed and humiliated. To make things even worse, after returning the key cards, they tried to charge us for an extra night. We refused, and rightfully so, because this place shows zero respect for guests, especially foreign visitors. Extremely unprofessional, unacceptable, and absolutely not recommended.

Horrendous hotel. How they get away advertising a luxury 5* resort is beyond me. Pools all unusable. 2 filled with algae and the one open one was turning green and had half the tiles missing, ladders hanging off. “All inclusive” while they had many alcohol choices, the soft drinks available were Coke, Coke Zero and tonic. That’s the lot. Furniture by the pool was disgusting. Cleanliness in general was vile; food was inedible covered in flies, the ketchup even had a layer on top suggesting it had sat there for weeks. There were a lot of wasps in the area around that time of year which is out of their control, but not cleaning anything doesn’t help at all and just attracted more. The room was decent but there was sand all over the floor when we hadn’t even gone to the beach, the shower turned cold half way through showers. Around the “bar” area in the evening, they didn’t turn any lights on, it was pitch black in the seating area. The whole resort is run down in general. Advertised water park that closed the day after we arrived and was not even told this on arrival so couldn’t give that a go on the one day it was available to us. I felt mugged off.

Awful hotel, the pictures they show on their social media and their Instagram are actually diabolical, it is like night and day the difference. As you can see from my photos, none of the pools are useable. The food is not edible, flys all around it, all left at room temperature it’s asking for food poisoning. None of the fresh food they show in their photos. Advertised that you can eat at one of their many restaurants…there was one open and the rest were wrapped up in plastic. It had the potential to be good, but unfortunately it looks as if it’s been let go… Staff are overworked and asleep on the job, pools are a safety hazard missing tiles and full of algae. The seats by the bar area are all cigarette burns and ripped. Their boasted “VIP” pool which is on their social media is covered in algae. The place is practically derelict. Save your money and go to one of the better hotels near by.

This was by far the worst resort experience we have ever had. The breakfast was awful, almost nothing to choose from, and absolutely not what you would expect from a so called “resort.”

The balcony door in our villa was broken, and even though I complained for 3 days in a row, they only came to fix it after the third day. We were forced to sleep with the balcony door wide open, with a 1.5 year old child inside the room. That is not just bad service it’s dangerous and unacceptable.

To make things even worse, on the last day I asked for only 2 extra hours for late check-out, because of my child’s nap schedule. They refused, claiming the resort was fully booked, but the parking and beach were almost empty since it was the end of the season. Instead, they demanded I pay for a full extra night just to stay 2–3 hours longer. This is nothing but a scam to squeeze more money out of guests.

Horrible service, zero professionalism, no care for families, and absolutely no respect for customers. Prestige Resort is a disgrace ,i would never come back and I strongly advise others to stay away.

This hotel was definitely NOT worth the stay!
We had the all-inclusive, extremely expensive and not worth it, package and it was horrible. Firstly, once we arrived the workers in the reception were the complete opposite of welcoming. They told us to go by ourselves to our room (which is quite far and confusing seeing as there are like 4-5 villa buildings around)- at first, we thought this was the norm, however we saw them accompany other guests to their rooms (especially tourists). When it came to us, possibly due to the fact we were Albanian, we didn’t get that treatment. They gave us one little dirty door card and showed us where to go without any specificity. Once we arrived, we first saw that the safe was locked- which was then recovered by a worker after going to the reception desk again. Then we noticed the room- the curtains were half hanging half fallen, the balcony door was broken and would not open, the pillows on the bed were far from neat and very messy, the balcony was extremely dirty (even the table with immense amount of dust). We had to go up and down to the reception multiple times that afternoon, making us miss out on the snack time and go late to dinner. After an argument with the team, who gave us attitude thinking they helped us, we got a room change. (They also lied saying they’re giving us the Aquapark for free when we were told the Aquapark was part of the all-inclusive package anyways as part of the apology and we explained this but they kept on lying). Once there, the curtains again had the same problem and pillows but thankfully we had no balcony. Our bathroom lock wasnt working either. We noticed the TV wasnt working either and went to them multiple times and after 24 hours they fixed it. The food ran out extremely quickly and was barely refilled. The area around the swimming pool was dirty as well, even the pool was catastrophically dirty. We asked to speak to the manager but they didnt give us any contact for them. Don’t get fooled by any pictures online.

A complete disappointment. This hotel is marketed as a five-star property, but it doesn't even meet the standard of a two-star. The food was extremely poor – very limited selection, low quality, and none of the basics one would expect from a hotel in this price range. The all-inclusive bar offered only the cheapest drinks. The service was unacceptable: staff appeared disinterested, spent most of their time chatting among themselves, and guests were left waiting far too long for everything. I felt deceived and deeply dissatisfied. I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.

The hotel was terrible. The pool was not functioning, same with Aqua Park which they promoted as a famous aqua park on their page.There wasn’t enough food, the wifi doesn’t work . The place wasn’t clean , the rooms were moldy .We paid all inclusive but the only thing opened was the restaurant .

The hotel could also be a strong point but unfortunately the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Cold rooms, persistent smell of muzza (curtains full of mold), walls with mosquito corpses with lots of blood. Poor breakfast, little choice, the only decent thing were the pancakes if they hadn't been raw inside. Dirty pools.
