I booked a Valentine’s holiday and paid extra for a sea-view room and daily breakfast, but the hotel could not honour it. The “full” hotel was actually empty, and breakfast wasn’t available until more guests arrived three days later — yet I had paid for it. The first room had broken air‑conditioning and a non-working TV. The second room smelled strongly of undiluted bleach, causing headaches and a skin rash. There was no water in the fridge, no balcony furniture, no toilet brush, and we repeatedly had to ask for toilet roll and towels. Very disappointing experience and definitely not 4-star service. I will not be returning.

Hotel Bleart, Durrës, Albania Our 14-day stay at this hotel was a big disappointment and did not meet the standards of a 4★ hotel. We had paid for a room with direct sea view, but we were given only a side sea view. After complaining, we were moved to another room on the third day – again with only a side view and this time with a moldy bathroom. The tour representative insisted that we were not entitled to anything else. The room was small, without a wardrobe, and instead of a minibar there was only an empty, smelly fridge. The all-inclusive food was repetitive every day – dry, tough meat, mostly rice and pasta, poor variety. We were never informed that the hotel water is not drinkable and should not even be used for washing – we had to buy bottled water. Loud live music until late at night, dirty beach and sunbeds, no water sports, no animation programs. The tour representative did not care about the clients – she only appeared once to sell excursions. On departure we received a package consisting of an old baguette with sour cheese and cucumber peel, one peach and a small bottle of water. ⚠️ Hotel Bleart definitely does not correspond to a 4★ standard and I cannot recommend it.

Our week at the Bleart Hotel with our family (our couple and our two 19-year-old daughters) was almost perfect. We had the package with breakfast included, very generous! I can only thank again our main contact at the hotel, Oresti who manages the reception but so many other things, always smiling, always looking for satisfactory solutions always with the desire to make our stay as pleasant as possible, incredible ☺️ with very good advice, attentive and very kind! I don't forget the manager of the restaurant who is so pleasant too. The hotel, the swimming pool, the large space with food points on stilts directly on the sea, very very beautiful especially at sunset! The pizzeria also belonging to the hotel makes very good pizzas 😋! I only give 4 stars for the location because some rooms (our first night) overlook a very very very busy road and are smaller than those we had the next day thanks to the kindness and understanding of Oresti (and his manager) at no extra cost with a large double bed, a single bed, storage and a large bathroom and a pool and sea view 😍 from the large terrace 🌞💞.

Friendly staff (despite the language barrier) and good experience overall. The pool has some algae on the walls which wasn't very inviting. The breakfast was average. The main issue was there was an old man sitting in the restaurant and chain-smoking every day despite the signs saying smoking is forbidden...

The overall impression is good, it's the Balkans - Albania from the airport is literally "crammed" with people and cars, as well as the transfer traffic jams on the highway. Unloading luggage from the bus in the middle of full traffic is literally a stunt. The entrance to the hotel is through a small parking lot located on a two-lane road adjacent to the highway, railway and other roads - traffic 24 hours a day like here at rush hour :( . The reception staff arranged very quickly without any paperwork or instructions. Other times and places on the notices, due to the language barrier, nothing much could be arranged. Everyone was annoyed that dinners were only served until 9 pm - we are in Europe and at 9 pm there is still enough light to enjoy the beach, the sea and the pool with sea water. Overall satisfaction with minor reservations unless you expect 5*****

The hotel is great. Beautiful inside and out. The rooms are great. The food is great. The pool is nice. The beach with sunbeds is really beautiful. The advantage is a large pier with sunbeds, parasols and drinks. The only thing that bothered me was the music everywhere.
