Hotel Veliera in Durres

The location of the hotel was good and the hotel was nicely small, but unfortunately the walls and doors were quite thin. The man who showed up at the reception at night was in a sleeveless shirt, with his hair standing up, and he didn't understand a word of English. The only people who spoke English were the reception girls. The breakfast was very poor, always the same, the lady did not even understand when we asked for coffee, she moved us from a table for four to a table for two because it was a large family table. During the week I did not encounter any large family. Very unpleasant attitude. There were wire hangers in the wardrobe. The shower water ran under the glass so that the whole room was filled with water. I was forced to throw a towel down just to manage in the shower room after washing with dry feet. The faucet in the sink was calcified and the faucet itself was short, so most of the water flowed over the edge of the sink and onto the toilet paper roll. The paper holder was dirty and wobbly on the wall. The cleaner came every day, changed the towels, added cleaning supplies, paper, and also left drinking water. She was a nice woman and did a very good job.
