Where to stay in Kotayk Province

This is a very special hotel in Tsaghkadzor. I suppose it was originally built and decorated in the Soviet time and probably was outright luxurious at the time. Now it is not luxurious but stylish and classy. Each floor has its own elaborate decoration so you are never bored and you feel that you live in an interesting place. The staff is very friendly and always tries to help in any way possible...

The location of this hotel perfect very close walking distance to Ropeway, the entire hotel is surrounded lush green trees which soo relaxing and even in summer the temp goes down to 6 degrees. they very good breakfast and indoor swimming pool n even billiards. Had a very relaxing stay.

Hotel alva is few minutes walk to the ropeway, breakfast is good and room is very clean. This hotel is just yard away from the slopes and after a long day skiing all you want is to get to return to the room and rest. The rooms are basic, clean and have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to help and assist. We checked other hotel around and Alva cannot be faulted.

Budget hotel with a lot of rooms. Maybe the cheapest price in Tsaghkadzor. Located near the centre. Spent there a night, when no other place was available.

The best hotel in Tsaghkadzor! The prices were a pleasant surprise! The breakfasts were incredible! The staff is attentive, always available, and they always have everything you need! We didn't have ski boots, so they asked for our size and brought us three to choose from! Thank you! We highly recommend it!!! We'll be back!

Located in the forest, cottage was surrounded by amazing nature. Night lights playing in the white snow were the most beautiful phenomena I have ever seen. In side of this wonderland the service was poor. Temperature in the rooms was low and we had to take second manta. Assortment of food was also far away from good. In the early morning I saw cockroaches and It was the end of my patience.

Since there were no reviews for 2023 we decided to try our luck, but desperate. Only the view and outside of hotel was good. Both openair swim pool and closed one were clean. The rooms (301: 303) are dilapidated , bed utilities with holes from sigarette (photo attached) and even lamp were "tortured". The rooms and toilet were clean but pretty old, so it looked not esthetic . It is very disappointing...

A great place for an affordable and complete vacation. I can't say high-class about the rooms and the building, but of course this is not a 5-star hotel either. However, the service, friendly approach and prices are justified. The food is fresh and tasty. What else do you need for complete rest?

The rooms are comfortable, but I would put a nightstand in the bathroom, otherwise there’s nowhere to put things when you go to shower =) The hosts made us happy, they were always ready to help us, bed linen and towels in the room were changed upon request! We were satisfied!

We didn't stay there,we only use their restaurant. Staff were so friendly and it was very late when we reached there but they were so patient and prepared everything. It was so yummy and the quantity was heavy.

We had an amazing stay at Kareno, the rooms are cozy, warm, and the food was great!! Also the guys were so nice to throw a huge party for the new year, invited us for drinks and snacks - great people that made sure we are having a very pleasant stay. What a lovely host we have. The cabin is owned by an armenian family who is trying their best to accommodate your needs and give you the maximum comfort of your stay. Rooms are very spaceous and clean. They have prepared our fantastic breakfast and dinner at a very reasonable price, evern more than what you pay for! Location is excellent, adjacent to the ski ropeway. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent stay at Garni Hinyard. The hotel has a beautiful garden and a lovely pool, perfect for relaxation. The hotel is located close to the cable car - about 15 minutes on foot. Not suitable for those who come to ski - there is no place to dry clothes or leave equipment. Rather, it is for families who come to relax for the weekend. They smoke everywhere, it is impossible to hide from the smoke even in your room.
