A really lovely hotel that surpassed my expectations. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel has lots of amazing artwork inside, with lots of areas to explore and find a peaceful spot to relax. The breakfast was good and filling. Short walk to town for the restaurants and shops, the forest is right behind for a walk. The best aspect was the staff who were very friendly and helpful all the time, more than anywhere else I stayed during my three weeks in Armenia.

It's great to see a hotel with history and character being run so well - I really hope its kept this way and doesn't have a terrible 'renovation' like so many other places.

This is a very special hotel in Tsaghkadzor. I suppose it was originally built and decorated in the Soviet time and probably was outright luxurious at the time. Now it is not luxurious but stylish and classy. Each floor has its own elaborate decoration so you are never bored and you feel that you live in an interesting place.

The staff is very friendly and always tries to help in any way possible.

I also really liked the location: very close to the center where all the main restaurants and shops are, and yet a little up on the hill in a quiet area (also giving you an opportunity to exercise a little when walking up to the hotel after a full dinner :)

In the house of writers you can become the hero of your own story, move in time and return to the past. Aesthetic paintings and Soviet manifestations are a magical example of the past stages. The direct attitude of the staff makes you feel closer. The proximity of the forest and abundance of birds make the day unforgettable.

The hotel was good, the room was spacious and renovated, even more close to a studio, rather than a hotel room.
The staff was polite and kind.

Only two things were slightly disturbing:
- the overnight noise (like from a gym) every single night,
- the absence of lunch in a hotel, as well as any microwave oven in the apartment.

I was moved from one room to another with no reason. The lamp in the toilet was broken in the second one, but the staff changed it.

Nice hotel with view to nature.. Good place for families to stay and good service from staffs.

Hotel is an old property and situated at an elevated level hence difficult approach by walk.
Staff is good and cooperative.
Bedding and mattress need attention.
Breakfast time is very restrictive (0900 -1000) and doesn't offers much choices fir vegans. Wifi access is poor to the rooms.

This hotel feels like it’s lost in time. Interior public spaces are covered in mosaics and there are seemingly endless corridors leading to fascinating rooms full of plants, taxidermy, and exercise equipment. Staff were friendly and accommodating, putting together a meal for me when I arrived even though it was long past the closing of the kitchen, and helping me arrange taxis. I loved every minute I spent here. My only critique is that it was impossible to escape the cigarette smoke, but that is true virtually everywhere in Armenia.
