Only stayed two nights but was a wonderful hotel! Great gym that I pretty much had to my self. really nice rooms with awesome views of Canberra. Unfortunately it was way too cool for the pool (although I still hopped in) biggest mistake of my life. The spa wasn’t running but I’m sure it would be even better if it was. One problem we had was that they didn’t give us an address of where the hotel was, they just said it was on this street across from a casino which was helpful but not helpful enough as the hotel didn’t have a big name anywhere. They also didn’t really tell us how to get in of where to get in. This problem may have just been us… so please I would still highly recommend this place

I was inspired to leave this review after seeing there was only one other review on TripAdvisor. As you see from the photos these services apartments have generously large home sized rooms. The balconies are the same, mine with a great view over the pool below and Canberra. Canberrans hidden gem!! Full kitchen with everything required. Large gym, pool and BBQ areas. Parking also in secure garage with lift access. I could compliment all day. Do not hesitate in booking a stay at Astra Manhattan.

Pros: - nice apartment that is close to everything and walking distance from food and shops. - nice view. - pool was refreshing and a nice size. - walking distance from most things. - the double glassed windows kept the heat in but unfortunately it was quite warm when we went so we had to put the a/c on otherwise we couldn’t sleep because we would wake up hot. Cons: - one of the bathroom showers was flooding if you had the pressure up too high. It also smelt like sewage so we were given a lid thing to put on the drain when not using the shower otherwise the whole apartment would smell. - kitchen was pretty small. - kitchen utensils, cups and plates weren’t very clean when we got there. They also didn’t supply any scrubs/sponges to wash dishes with. The dishwasher also didn’t wash the dishes properly. - Some of the bed sheets were a little dirty. - Was a little dusty. - Room didn’t feel very clean. - not much toilet paper provided. - loud noises from cars/people on the street. Overall we were happy with our stay and the location of the accommodation was great!

We stayed here for 3 weeks whilst waiting to move into our new apartment. The accommodation was excellent - clean, bright and quiet, with great views of the trees/hills. The amenities were excellent - the pool was lovely. The location is great - very next to the city centre. We had a problem with the washing machine in the first couple of days which was dealt with very quickly. Thank you to Rebecca and Thomas for making our stay go so smoothly - you were great!

Prime position being so close to the city centre, basically a few steps closer than the Crowne. Even the gym was better than the crown ironically. Water pressure was unreal in the showers I even had to dial it down slightly.
The only fault I can really find is that you can hear street noise like cars speeding through the city but that dies off about 11pm

Great location and scenic view. Air conditioning and appliances were updated and worked well. Balcony and giant windows made for a nice and well-lit space. Great customer service.

Great apartment for base in Canberra. Excellent amenities, facilities and check-in procedure. Location was superb, you can walk to almost everywhere if you are keen.

Ordered thick toast with marmalade jam as have had this at many other Coffee Clubs when order came was told we don’t have jam on our Menu you can have Vegemite when I said no thanks I don’t want it and take the toast away female staff member came over became quite rude in front of other diners and said in future don’t order items we don’t have,one would think their staff member would know what is on their menu when you place your order ..I thought all Coffee Clubs had the same menu.The female staff member Eccho she recons her name was needs a lesson in customer relations real quick. Nearby customers stated they could not believe her attitude and comments she made in front customers.RUDE CRUDE AND VULGAR.

Poor service...the person taking the orders should be reading back the order as my wife ordered a smashed avo and egg and specifically asked for bacon. It came out minus the bacon, then the lady behind the counter came out to inform us that we needed to pay $3 for cold tiny piece of bacon as it wasn't in the order...my wife did ask for bacon, the lady obviously didn't hear her which is we're the importance of reading back the order comes in.

The food and service don't deserve even a half star. All orders were badly under the required level. Staff are ignorant and rude. I will never be back. Don't waste your money in this branch.

I ordered the avo smash with smoked salmon. Decent amount of salmon but the avo was just a vague spread with the tiniest amount of crumbled feta. Bread was hard as a rock! For the exorbitant price of about $16 I was not impressed! Should be called avo spread and should be half the price. Coffee is average but you can't expect much from a chain like this. Service was okay, nothing special, just adequate I guess. Won't be eating food from here again, total rip off!

The savings on meals and drinks make the membership worthwhile. Offers discounts to seniors. In the heart of the city. A relaxing place for a beer coffee or snack.
