We had a lovely stay at Chidori Court. Perfect location close to beach, restaurants and tram into Surfers and Southport.
The unit was clean with lots of natural light.
Comfy bed and pillows.
The manager was friendly and helpful with supplying information about what to do and restaurants in the area.
Thanks for a great stay. We will be back for sure!

Amazing location, walking distance to everything. Beach is just a 2min walk.
Managers George and Stacey are very friendly and accomodating.
Unit was modern, clean and very comfortable.
Great pool and hot spa.

We had a brilliant stay at Chidori court. We booked 5 units for a group of 5 families with young kids. It’s such a brilliant set up for kids and the perfect location. 2 min walk to Tedder ave and 2 mins to a patrolled beach. We spent most of our time in the pool and loved the low rise building so that we could be together while also having our own space.

The overall property was nice and intial communication was good and the location is great. However our particular apartment was very dated and not clean. Blankets were old and screwed up in cupboards not even folded. There were lollies on the floor in the lounge room and the blinds and fans were extremely dusty. The cleaners were waiting outside our room from at least 8.30am (for a 10am checkout time) and even asked us what time we were checking out so they could enter which we found extremely rude.

Chidori Court is a fantastic stay on the Gold Coast right in Main Beach. You couldn't ask for a better location!
I've stayed in two separate apartments here and both were excellent - very clean rooms, smart white ensuite bathrooms, a lovely balcony and garden/pool outlook. The pool is great for families or a relax in the sun.
The service is friendly and efficient making arriving and departing a breeze. I think it's one of the best secrets of Main Beach. Five stars!

Fabulous stay. Extremely well equipped apartment...even had weighing scales! 2 bed 2 bath and very spacious. Very comfortable and a real home from home. Helpful, friendly reception. Pleasant pool and BBQ area. Main Beach is a very upmarket area and Tedder Avenue is the main drag and literally minutes from the apartment, as is the beach in the other direction. It's about a 30 minute flat, paved walk along the beach path to Surfers Paradise. The location was perfect. It was relatively quiet although there is a major building project just down the road that looks like it will be ongoing for a while yet. However you don't expect to come to the Gold Coast without finding active building projects!! We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Whilst our apartment was the right fit for our adult family, the cleanliness could have been better, with clothes left in the washing machine and dryer and a big liquid spill under the lounge which we found when we were cleaning before we left. And the microwave was dirty inside.
A big disappointment was the renovation/construction noise in the apartment above from 8am until at least 4pm, lots of drilling, grinding, cutting and banging noises. One day we still heard noise at 5.30pm. When we enquired about the noise we were told that they had been given approval from the committee to do renovations and could only work between 8am and 4pm, which wasn’t ideal when we had booked for a quiet, relaxing holiday. We should have been told about this before we booked as we would have chosen somewhere else to stay.
Another air conditioner in the sleeping area is needed as the bedrooms are too hot to sleep in at night.

KEEP WALKING. seafood frozen before cooking (ie not fresh - waste of money). Pizza bases pre frozen (I.e. not fresh - $7 domino pizza much better). Resturant is busy due to lack of competition, give it a wide berth.

Disappointed. Spaghetti Marinara, seafood frozen in microwaved sauce. Pizza bases stiff and stale, over cooked and dry. Service friendly, and restaurant extremely busy but they need to pick up their game if they want to keep their customers.

Been here twice. One for lunch. And on the way back for a dinner. Service was nice. Foods were the best italian restaurant we ever had.

Excellent service catering to three sharing several dishes. Succulent perfectly cooked calamari, butterflied whiting fillets served on a delicious salad, tender steak sandwich and super delicious chorizo and prawn hotpot served with toast to mop up the sauce. Not a morsel was left. A great little restaurant. Perfect lunch.

Cannot recommend the hash stack enough. Poached eggs, bacon, hash browns, avacado hollandaise all on Turkish bread. 10/10 great price great quality. Good coffee. Papers of the day.

Must be the worst dining experience of my life. Waited 20min for menus and table water even after numerous requests. Another 25min to take order. 45min later 1st dish arrived then 30min before final dish arrived cold. Entree didn't even show up. No discount offered. Very disfunctional restaurant.

Ate dinner last night (Saturday 28/10/2017) Very poor service
- waited over 20 minutes to get our drinks (nothing complicated - bucket of beer and a bottle of wine, eventually came after repeated queries)
- ordered VEGETARIAN spring rolls got ones with meat, apologised saying the waiter has fat fingers and pressed wrong button
- 2 main meals came out, repeated requests for 3rd meal which eventually came out
- food was bland, i was very disappointed as I was expecting fresh flavours (chilli, coriander, lime, lemon) in the papaya salad. The other meals we ordered were slapped together with no flavour.
- meals were not cheap either, no atmosphere, understaffed, staff with poor English and communication skills.
- definitely won’t be recommending or returning. Will stick to my favourite Thai restaurant in Chirn Park.
