Breakfree Acapulco in Gold Coast

Roast of the day is not at all nice. Processed compressed immitation turkey spam, horrid. Served with soggy potatoes and a piece of Broccoli the size of a 5 cent coin is a disappointment. The view is pleasant which is the reason for 2 stars and not one but I cannot recommend this place.

Have been coming here regularly over the last couple of years. Always nice food and good atmosphere. Went again on Saturday night. Staff were friendly and meals were quick. Quite a menu change since last time. No oysters available. Sold out. Not sure how you sell out by 630. Ordered s and p squid instead. Was cold when it came out and no flavour. Awful mayo or something put underneath the squid?? Mains come, they were bland and no effort gone in. Hot but over cooked lamb and the pork just tasted like salt. Staff took our half drank beers when we went to order. Even though they had just seated us. Put a bet on in the tab and ran an error code for some reason. Bloke standing there didn't notice me for 3 or 4 mins in which time race had jumped. To run salt in of course it won and pd $15. Not his fault it had an error on the card but poor service especially at a busy tab not to fix it in time. We were so looking forward to our night here and it did not live up to our hopes. Poor food to say the least and I won't be back.
