Marriner Views in Gold Coast

Rick and his wife who manage this place were rude no customer service skills.The apartments have no aircons,ceiling fans,carpets are dirty smelling.i think even given a free accommodation is still not worth living there.

some positives and negatives to the Marriner view apartments. The location was great we were able to walk into surfers. The views from our apartments were amazing as you could see hinterland as well as ocean. The room was very large, good living area, bedrooms were a good size and kitchen was a good size. HOWEVER! Customer service was shocking. I'm normally not one to complain but upon arrival we were ignored at the check in, talked to rudely when we notified reception that we were told we possibly could have an earlier check in to which we received a reply off ' I doubt that ' reception was incrediably condecending/nasty and did not treat us like the paying customers we were... then we were drilled and lectured about (though we are not smokers) that if they even smelt smoke or suspected smoking we would be charged $300, how we had to remove EVERY piece of rubbish from the apartment, clean the apartment and leave it looking exactly as we found it entering it wash and dry and put away any and all glasses or plates (obviously you don't leave a hotel room messy but this was asking us to pretty much do the housekeeping with all the rules), when we got to our room that though not airconned DID have a nice breeze the pull out beds we requested were left out at the hallway and not placed into the room, the bathrooms were clean but slightly moldy, my bed had black hair from someone else, the floor was pretty sticky and the glasses and plates that were available in the cupboard were incrediably dirty and smudged. As I said this place had its positives and negatives and unfortunately the incrediably rude !!!!!!!!!! reception service really impacted the whole expericne, for the price we paid it should of been of higher quality.
