We couldn’t sleep because of the noise outside—there were people downstairs cleaning bottles since there’s a bar next door. You can hear everything from below. I thought there would be air-conditioning like in the photos, but there isn’t. The electric fan is dusty, the window won’t close, and it’s full of cobwebs. I know it’s a budget hotel, but the room should still be at least somewhat clean. Also, some guests were smoking in the bathroom, so the smell spread throughout the whole floor. So terrible!

The hotel is very old. There is a wet odor. The overall feeling is very rusty and, therefore, dirty. There is no room service, but it was ok for me since I had a short stay. The location and price are the hotel’s advantages, as well as a very nice manager at the reception desk. Although the hotel needs renovations, I’m quite happy with my stay there since it was the travel season and it was really hard to book a place.

It's in a great location, close to Parliament and metro/tram stations. It's very basic and has shared bathrooms, but it's affordable for Australia.

One of the hand wash bottles in the shower room was empty, but they kindly left a hair dryer in my room as I requested in advance.
The receptionist was friendly and kind.
The location is great, and I think I’ll stay here again next time.

The location is good right in the CBD and the bed is comfortable and firm . There is no aircon which is fine , it is very cooling at night . There is a fan in the room . The share bathroom and toilets are clean .

Not sure if it is a nightclub or restaurant. An unbelievable volume completely ruins the experience. Wait staff struggled to hear from a foot away. Food generally very tasty, though expensive for what it is. Staff wete great.

Horrible experience, not only was the food subpar but they forgot part of our order. Made horrible espresso Martinis and the manager was a complete piece of work. Will not return, they bank on previous word of mouth. Granted it used to be great but those times are over and did I mention the horrible manager. Unbelievable that he could be so short sighted and rude. Do not go there. Goto Fonda. Joe the waiter was the only good part of the experience.

Delicious! We ordered the “feed me” option which was incredible value for money. Juan looked after us & he was great! Highly recommended

Juan, our bartender and host was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and up for a chat. My partner and I had the "Feed Me" menu which was great value for money and of fantasy quality. Couldn't fault the service or the food. Very pleased.

Absolutely delicious. Great flavours. And excellent service, really awesome waitress served us. Love the location as well. Must recommend the fish taco and the pork taco.

Dined here recently and have experienced the worst customer service of 2017.
Upon presentation of the entertainment book voucher, the head waiter with the glasses had the audacity to laugh at my face loudly. That was completely unprofessional and would explain the other 1 star reviews on the restaurant.

Customer service was strange? The head waiter was incredibly rude and arrogant to customers. When trying to explain dietary requirements he spat at us 'you get what you're given'.

Truly excellent Italian, a table of four couldn't fault a single item. BYO wine which is great for in the city, recommend a later booking if you want a relaxing experience as can get very busy with pre theatre.

Yesterday was the second time I’ve eaten here before a show. We allowed plenty of time. I ordered an entree and a side dish. My husband ordered a pasta main. We enjoyed our meal however my side dish never arrived. When I asked they said well do you still want it. I did. It failed to come quickly and only arrived without time for me to finish it. The first time we went there with 4 people before a show one dish failed to turn up.. I’ll try somewhere else next time

Food is good, but overpriced.
Really small portions, only for people either not hungry or with a petite stomach.

When asked the waitress for bread... she needed to ask the chef??
After five minutes she comes back saying the they do not serve bread during lunch time...

The dessert, chocolate fondant with ice cream, was smaller than a kids size meal.

Come back? no sir, thank you very much.

My brother had his wedding here on the weekend. They have excellent customer service, the set up of the restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately a couple of dishes were not as nice as the others.

Got there at 6:35 PM and had to be at a show accross the road at 8. Were told we would easily fit 2 courses in by that time so we sat down. We ordered mains AND dessert at 6:45 and didnt get our drinks for 15 minutes and mains arrived at 7:25 the medium steak was below average considering the great reviews. Our table was left cluttered with wine glasses we didnt use and noone came to check on us or clear our table. We ended up paying and walking out before desert came. Only reason its a 3/5 is because the staff were very nice and took dessert off the bill.

Overall wont be returning.
