YTI Garden Hotel in Melbourne

We recently had our staff xmas party at the Mill. The service was just OK, with one waitress struggling with English so incorrect drinks were being brought to the table. The food was not good at all - slow, incorrect orders and just blah. The facilities (ladies loos in particular) were dark, smelly and there water all over the floor from a plumbing issue. Will not return.

My mum and I shared a tasting platter for $55. The four small meatballs we received were obviously from a bag, the spicy chicken wings were definitely shop bought and frozen up until cooking and the dips were not handmade or fresh, again, shop bought. We got charged $4 extra for some bread, yet we weren't told there would be an extra charge, we only found out when we received the bill. This place is overpriced and has awful food.

This was a disastrous experience!!! We arrived early because we have 2 children, put our order in quickly before the rush and waited......and waited. After an hr asked our waiter where our food was as patrons that had arrived later than us were getting meals. His reply was he would check after 15 minutes called him over and asked again saying that he hadn't come back. He then said he would check only to come back and tell us he forgot to put our order in!!!!!! And that also we would now have a long wait for food. I would not recommend this place at all. Maybe you might get service but...... maybe you won't. Would you chance it!!!!! After an hr and 25 minutes with no food we gave up!!!!!
