We have been truly spoilt with a five room suite kitchen, lounge, study nook, bedroom and a huge bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom toiletries are good quality and generous. Laundry services are available. The hotel is really centrally located, within walking distance to the most amazing restaurants and trams. Beautiful hotel with helpful staff.

This Sebel is in an excellent location for visiting the Melbourne CBD with it's laneways, restaurants, shops and bars. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The apartments are spacious, although a little outdated and dark. They are well equipped except for a decent coffee maker.

We had a short stay in a one-bedroom king deluxe room which was a large 95 sq metres and our room was located on the 7th floor with courtyard views. This is one of my favourite properties in the Melbourne CBD. Location is great and a very short walk to Flinders Street Station. There are several restaurants in the street as well as a convenience store. Room is spotless, and very roomy with two tvs, a large bathroom with a full bath, a study type area and a lounge. Kitchen is adequate to self-cater however the fridge is not very large, although there is also a wine fridge in the next room. It's such a great place to explore Melbourne.

We spent a week here nine years ago and enjoyed then and enjoyed our stay as much, if not more than before. Having a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom with a king sized bed is very comfortable. The location is perfect for a stay in Melbourne.

Stayed here for 6 nights and the apartment was spacious, well laid out with plenty of things close to see. Melbourne over Christmas is a bit crazy but there’s plenty to do and the trams in the CBD are free so easy to get around. The apartment has full cooking facilities but there’s a great Vietnamese restaurant nearby that cheap & delicious.

The room was amazing, it was more a suite than a room. As I was travelling solo, I left some clothes in a wardrobe (no one to check on me). Someone amazing from house keeping found it and bagged it up, it is now back in my possession 24hours later. Thank you

We have just had a week at the Sebel Flinders Lane, what a great place to stay. We had a one bedroom apartment on the fourth floor overlooking Flinders Lane. The apartment was very comfortable and well maintained and clean. Good kitchen facilities, free wifi worked well as did everything else. The apartment was always a lovely temperature, nice to come home to after busy days in the cold of winter. The thing we loved the most was the position just around the corner from Flinders Street Station, walk out the front door and you are right in the middle of town , beautiful. Checking in and out was a breeze. When you come into the reception area from the cold outside there is a small lounge area with a gas flame fire that warms that area superbly, that is soo welcoming. Look forward to our next stay there, highly recommend this place.

We're able to get an early checkin after a very early overseas flight and a lot g delay getting through airport. This was really appreciated. We have used this establishment before and will again. The only thing I would welcome is a comfortable chair in living room rather than one that just looks good

Proximity to Flinders Station and short 3 min walk to the tram stop.

Very spacious room, with kitchen, dining, living room! And very friendly front desk staff :)

Groupon lured us into this den of 80's dag, with its honey glazed carrots and piano cover music. For lovers of see-saw tables, circus act table service and chewy meat served on a fat splattering hot stone.

Very bad experience for having dinner here tonight. Food is ok but the service is bad. This is our frist time here. We asked the toast, which took 40 min, then the manager told us we can't have extra toast and letted us to leave this resturant (they want ti reset the table). I told them Ididn't have any toast this evening. The manager didn't want to listen to me, and the attitude was sooo bad. Very bad exerience.

Was recommended the stonegrill cooking by the friendly waitress and it did not disappoint! The scotch fillet was a very decent size and it came with complimentary sides and sauces. The stone stayed hot right through to the end of our meal! It was very enjoyable and will definitely be back!

Just wow! The decor and lighting is beautiful. The service is friendly and quick. My partner and I enjoyed sharing our dishes and tea, and it was just the most perfect meal. The satay dumplings are delicious!! The stir fry - Yum! You can't beat the original. And the tea's... don't pass it up! Enjoying some tea with our meal was really refreshing to the palate. The jasmin & lychee tea is subtle and uplifting! I will recommend this place 100% 5 star!!!!

Really good food! I love my dumplings and I could eat here week without fail. Staff were good if a little rushed at times but would recommend to dumpling lovers any time!

Dumplings that will re-ignite your soul and make you feel like a dragon (though not for long). Their chai is also phenomenal. Wide tea selections.

Simple Italian cuisine executed perfectly. Well balanced flavours and textures in each dish. Very friendly service. Good value for central Melbourne. Craft ales available. Overall it was the best meal we had in Melbourne despite visiting some much more expensive and higher reputation restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

Been to La Camera many times over the years. Very impressive. Great food friendly staff. Just the best there is in Melbourne. Would highly recommend going. You won't be disappointed ??

My wife and I tried this place last night for the first time and will definitely be back. Service was excellent without being overbearing, and had a great view of the Yarra from the balcony. Our selection of 5 Antipasti plates was delicious and perfectly sized so we could still enjoy our main course. My wife's beef cheek spaccatelle was amazing and my linguine was packed full of fresh seafood. The bill $134.00 for including drinks was pretty standard for the area. Thoroughly enjoyed it and not quite sure how it took so long to try it!

Portion sizes are good. Flavour is lacking, prices are expensive for what you get. They charge $1 for take away boxes, because they are greedy like that.
14.10.2017 Stephen
We had the pizza special which was $26.50. The serving size was generous, but we felt that there just wasn't much topping. We only have a few pieces of salami and cheese and a lot of spinach on top, every mouthful was bland and rather dry and doughy. I would say the total cost of the pizza would be less than $5 to make at home. You are paying 75% of your total bill here for service and the environment. If you are that sort of customer than I guess La Camera would attract you, but if you want value for money look elsewhere.
