The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Southern Cross Station, making travel incredibly convenient. Great location – super convenient right next to Southern Cross Station and easy access to trams, which made getting around Melbourne really simple.
The room was clean and comfortable, overall a pleasant stay.
However, the bathroom amenities were quite limited and not provided in full for the number of guests, so we had to ask for addition

The neighbours made a noise complaint which resulted in a letter from management! We let the front desk know our friend was coming over to visit since we haven't seen him for a few years.. we were reminded by the manager on duty that only 2 were staying in our room.. he obviously didn't get the memo that he was only visiting and maybe the Savoy isn't the place for couple to visit if the walls are so thin the neighbours can't sleep! The second night was way louder in our room when It was only the 2 of us making (couples noise) (if U know what I mean) but nobody came knocking on the door or give us a written warning for being too loud!! Not aloud to have guests over and laugh with them! We didn't put our room next to the world's lightest sleeper and grumpy! We only picked the room off the website

The hotel is conveniently located near the station making it ideal for travellers arriving from Melbourne Airport. A Skybus stop is also nearby. The facilities are clean and the room is suitable for two people. However the wardrobe is a bit small for hanging towels and clothes. Everything else is good.

Booked this room for my son. He's stayed here a few times and always had a great experience. The breakfast buffet is also very delicious.

Just opposite southern cross station.
Staff was super helpful, there was problem with the air con in the room, he just changed another room for us.
But I don’t like the lighting in the room, much prefer brighter

Bar was closed on last 2 nights for 14 days and we were directed to another hotel, not quite the service I would expect!
Apparrantly the bar man was going on holiday, and I assume they didn’t trust the other bar member to do the job, what a shame!!!

Great location, right opposite the station where the bus arrives, but you can't hear any noise from the station in the room. The room was comfortable. The downside is that the window doesn't open, but there's a ventilation system.

Great restaurant for an in hotel establishment. The 400g New York strip loin was cooked to order but slightly over seasoned for my taste. The accompanying blue cheese, beetroot and walnut salad was good my side of vegetables was overdone but we'll flavoured.
The server was polite and professional however more staff could help or simply having room service requests be answered elsewhere rather than at the restaurant.
For a meal and side approx $50 a head.
