Outstanding service from the front desk. immaculately clean and great location

Located in the center of Melbourne, convenient for travel. The two-bedroom room I booked was very spacious and had a large balcony. I could have given it a full score, but I was not satisfied with the parking. The entrance to the hotel garage is in a small alley at the back and is not easy to find. You need to enter 2 malt house lane in the navigation.

The room is large and spacious. It has everything you need. It is not crowded for four people. The view outside the room is also very good. The location is convenient. You can walk to the city center.

Although it is close to the train station, the soundproofing is good. The hygiene is OK, but the bathtub is broken and there is sticky stuff on the hair dryer. It is very close to the church, train station, etc., very convenient.

An average hotel with a motel vibe, but a five star price. The bed was comfortable, the aircon was effective and the service from the front desk was quite good... but the bathroom was awkward and the hallways were constantly noisy and the trams were few and far between. In all, extremely overpriced, but tolerable.

Good location for trams to town, 15 minute walk to the beach. Nice clean rooms and reception very helpful.

Good location for where we needed to be. It also had the amenities that we required. The apartment we stayed in could do with new carpet and a good clean. Note the bathroom is in the main bedroom and there is no lift to the first floor, so bear these in mind. Close to transport and dining options.

The location of the property is perfect and size of the room was great, but it really lacked beyond that especially in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The train station is very close and travel is very convenient. Coles is just a few minutes away from the hotel. It is also very convenient to buy daily necessities.

Ample parking. Clean tidy rooms. Close to cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable beds. Only problem is that the bathroom is main bedroom and other guest in your apartment need to come through your room.

This hotel is okay for a one-night stay, as they don't clean the rooms or restock complimentary tea/coffee/milk on subsequent days. There were ants in the room. The website stated airport transfers were AUD 5 per person, but they charged us AUD 35 for three people, while the hotel next door offers free airport shuttle service.

The room is a bit old and dirty but it’s located in the cbd which is quite convenient with a cheap price.

The guy at the reception was very kind. I called because there was no hairdryer in the room, and he quickly brought one up.

the room was spacious and i was able to checkin slightly earlier and leave my bag there a few hrs prior which was very helpful! the location is convenient but the motel is connected with another business and there is no reception room just a corridor which was fine for me but just don't expect anything fancy, you are paying for what you get and it did the job for me nicely!

The location is convenient, close to Chinatown. Although the room is small, the bed is very comfortable and I slept well. The amenities are quite complete, but you need to book in advance. The front desk is often unstaffed. However, for this price, it's affordable for the average person, and I would recommend it.

Our stay at Amity was very pleasant. The location is convenient, close top restaurants shops, railway station etc. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Easy for rideshare vehicles to pick us up. Pity our room was overlooking the railway line so kept us awake nights as we are not used to train movements. Location for our purpose was excellent (hospital nearby), but property was quite dirty with very poor services. Staff were very pleasant to deal with but they could not clean the apartments or fix tv’s.

The great news for this motel is it has recently been purchased and undergoing renovation. The room was exactly what we wanted for a one night stay as we come down from country Victoria for hospital appointments. Yes the room needs maintenance but the linen was fresh and clean and the cleaners do a great job for what they are working with.

The apartment is clean and conducive. Furnished tastefully and complete. The washing machine serves us well. Very old and worn looking. The bed and bathroom were clean. The couch had a towel over it as the cushions were old and worn. Inexpensive and clean, but overall disappointed and would not stay there again if I returned to Melbourne.

Convenient location and free parking, close to the city. A lot of noise from neighbouring rooms at all hours and room needed to be aired for quite a while when we first entered.

I had 4 nights at the motel and it was perfect for my needs and exactly what I expected. It is a great location in terms of being able to walk to Abbotsford, Richmond, Collingwood or Fitzroy pubs. The bed was good and the bathroom was fine. Not a place I'd bring my wife but perfect for a bloke having a few nights in town.

The $50 security deposit is not advertised at all, you are made to feel uncomfortable when you make the point, + it takes 30 min of your time being wasted until the staff finally agrees it is unsatifactory & not necessary. Used this hostel for just one night. Got in and the room and the door handle was wonky and looked damaged, it did still lock however, but with the door handle being as it was I did find it hard at times to unlock the door to the room. Wouldn't say the hostel was overly welcoming. Paid the bare minimum received the bare minimum, it did its job for me being a place to sleep. Location wise it's a 5 minute...

Good location, but the female dorm door hard to open with the keys, we've to stand at the door atleast a good 10mins, trying to open it. Even then success rates are slim. No elevator, steep stairs going up to the hostel.
