This review is only about the restaurant, which we wanted to go to because of the wonderful view of the mountains.
We had lunch, so we were given the "daily menu." We ordered soup, a main course, and desserts. The food is tasty and nutritious, but not fancy. The desserts left the biggest impression; we can recommend the panna cotta with ice cream.
I want to note the low level of service when booking. There is no possibility to book a table on the restaurant's website. There was no response to the email; on Instagram, we received a response only the next day, in which there was advice to call the restaurant. The restaurant employee answered the phone contemptuously and hung up. We had to call several times to make sure that the order was accepted.
The only things that save the rating are the friendly service in the hall and the unmatched view of Zugspitze from the restaurant's terrace.

Rude staff and smelly/dark room, but good location
Staff was rude and room smelled bad. Good location but attitude and comfort must be improved. The view of the mountain was also not really a view (looked directly at another hotel, with only a sliver of a view) and sauna was not always available to use, so the advertising was somewhat false.

The restaurant has excellent vegan options and a beautiful mountain view for dining. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Staff was really friendly, the food was amazing and the price was not overdone. Would highly recommend when going to this village.

The food is very very good at this place. Almost everything is great and lovely so it does not matter what you choose it is always good. the view on the valley is great especially in the morning. The rooms are very very clean which surprises me because you don't see that always in other places. The rooms are very nice and feels cousy and the view on the balcony is great. Only thing that could change are the parking spot and the behavior of the employees. For example the bosses talked too us a little but the other waitress of the hotel did not make a little chat. The had given me the feeling of reserved and not kind.

We had such a wonderful 3 nights stay at this property. After reading the reviews, we were concerned parking would be far but it was a short 2-3 minute walk. Dinner was a delicious 4 course meal every night with an AMAZING view of the Zugspitze every night. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with fresh bread, spreads, musli, Jogurt and more. The sauna was clean and just what we needed after our long hikes each day. The staff was friendly, helpful, and gave us plenty of information for our day trips. We can’t wait to come back :) Thanks for everything, Zoller family!
