The owner, Brigit, is a beautiful woman, she arranged Christmas dinner for my family. Clean, friendly, helpful, excellent host. Highly recommended Bed and Breakfast

The host was very kind and hospitable-- she took the time to explain us the region and the different activities available.

The room was clean, cozy, and had amazing alpine views. The sauna was an added bonus after a difficult hike!

The breakfast was very filling. Even the service at breakfast was amazing.

The room was also close to nice restaurants, which was an added bonus.

I would highly recommend this place if you are hiking in this region. I would definitely stay here again.

On the 23rd of April 2025 I stayed at the Jakober hotel in Tux with my family and I had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was not exactly central or close to the ski slopes in reality It was a 10 minute drive but the Hotel had very nice wiews, the hotel Is also close to a nice Trail that goes along a clean and stunning river with lots of nice places to take photos.At First I had the impression that the hotel was understaffed but then I realised that the Woman running the hotel was very polite and professional so She made made out experience even Better.The hotel also had a Ski room service which wasn't the best but It was nice and next to It there was a ping pong table and a spa which are wonderful services and I am glad that the hotel offered them.The room on the other hand wasn't as nice Because It was really old style so It was like a Little apartment with two big and comfy bedrooms with bathrooms whilst also having a kitchen; everything was clean and well-kept. In the end we had a really good experience so I would suggest this Hotel to anyone visiting the Hintertux glacier.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Garni Jakober during our recent trip to the Zillertal ski resort. The location is perfect – just a short 3-minute walk to the gondola and only 2 minutes to the ski rental shop, which made everything super convenient for our ski days.

The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What made our visit truly special were the warm and friendly chats with Birgit, the lovely hotel owner. She made us feel so welcome and added a personal touch to our experience that we will always remember.

If you’re planning a ski holiday in Zillertal, we can’t recommend Garni Jakober enough – fantastic location, cozy accommodations, and the most charming hospitality. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This lovely family hotel is the perfect location for a wonderful summer hiking holiday. Our host Birgit looked after us perfectly. Our room was clean and well looked after by the staff. You get a free local bus pass which takes you to some great locations for trekking or going up higher on various cable cars to see splendid views. The hotel is quite close to some restaurants and Birgit was happy to make bookings for us when requested. The beds were comfortable, it was great to have a balcony to relax on and the breakfast choice was perfect. There is also a wonderful river walk close by which is quite flat and leads you beside sparkling clear waters. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay in the most fantastic surroundings.

I had a great stay at the Jakober Hotel in Tux. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the village and close to the ski lift, bus stop to go to Hinter-tux, and supermarket without much walking up-hill which is great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even assisted me with retrieving my forgotten ski boots by post, which was much appreciated.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The sauna is also very nice after a long day skiiing.

Overall, I highly recommend the Jakober Hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Tux.

I and my wife stayed here 1 week for skiing on Hintertux glacier.
The overall experience is superb.
Everything was perfect, from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The check in was flawless. The owner is a lady who is a super-host, being very polite and helpful.
The hotel is just splendid, being located in the middle of Tux, few meters away from the ski bus stop.
We had an apartment with large balcony, having an amazing view. The entire location is very well maintained and super-clean. Breakfast is delicious.
The well-equipped spa area, located in basement, is really helpful after a skiing day.

My wife and I have just enjoyed the fantastic stay in the Hotel-Garni Jakober.
The third-generation owner Birgit is very kind and helpful. The clean and comfortable room with balcony war good value. Many details should have been considered by the designs and modernizing, as well as the dreamlike wellness area! The breakfast made not only the stomach satisfied but also the eyes, nose, and tongue.

Fantastic hotel at a convenient location next to the gondola lift. The room was comfortable & the breakfast was great. Highly recommended hotel & we’ll definitely return very soon!
