We spent 5 days skiing holiday in this hotel and were very pleased with overall experience. Hotel rooms are not the most modern, but were spotlessly clean and generally pleasant. Similarly the rest of the hotel, not the most luxurious property in Obertauern but practical and ok for our needs. What really stands out is the service, which was just excellent. Everyone from the receptionist to dining area personal, to cleaning staff were just great, friendly, professional, polite. Whatever is the issue, they will solve it for you with a smile. Food was also very good, maybe quantity was a bit short for a 21 year old after a full day on a snow, but for normal person more then sufficient. You can see that the kitchen staff is making an effort. Location is also very good, very convenient and very close to ski trails. All together, we can recommend this place and will come again. Big thanks to all hotel staff for making our experience very pleasant!

Excellent vacation in the heart of the Alps and always snowy Obertauern. The hotel is in an ideal location, literally on the ski slope. The ski depot is accessible and at the hotel level. The rooms are excellently decorated, optimal size, everything you need is there. Special praise for the excellent and varied dinner and the abundant and delicious breakfast. We bought a ski pass at the reception. Car parking is in the garage, very convenient. The staff is friendly, always at your service, some even speak Croatian. The spa area is relatively small, but neat, offers fruit and juices for refreshment, always welcome after hard skiing. All in all, this is the third time we have returned to this wonderful hotel, and we will definitely be back next year.

The staff was amazing! At the checkin, the Hungarian lady was very helpful, the breakfast staff was perfect, always very attentive. The cleaning ladies were super thorough, the room was spotless.

Very nice hotel, just divided with a small street to the slopes. They have a ski storage right next to the slope, which is great. They are not in the city itself bht 5min walk and you are close to all the restaurants.
There are various different room types, some very modern some rather older but still clean and nice. I really liked it here as the people are friendly and the food was tasty. Nothing to complain.

Checking the booking options on booking website I have noticed that the only rooms which are renovated are the superior double rooms the other 2 are not renovated as shown in the pictures on your website.
Naturally, I have chosen the bigger and renovated room thinking that the higher price would result in a preferred room.
Before arrival, I requested a high and quiet room as I suffer from insomnia to which the hotel replied that this is the only room available and it’s not on a high level.
Upon my arrival, I was shocked to find out that my room was literally on the ground floor facing the hotel club.
The terrace door which leads to the road was blocked by a parking car and within 5 minutes of being in the room, 2 passing kids were knocking on the room's terrace door violently.
As if this situation wasn’t enough the next-door club which the hotel owns was pumping music as if today is the last day on earth and you could literally feel the floor vibrating.
Immediately I went back to the reception and kindly asked to change the room otherwise I will leave the hotel.
I was shocked to learn that in the hotel there are renovated rooms which do not appear in booking substantially smaller than the room offered on your website.
That made me feel a bit deceived as these rooms are not available on your website and as a customer, I feel that choice has been deliberately taken from me.
The receptionist mentioned to me these rooms are cheaper as they are smaller.
These rooms were on the highest floor and still facing the club but at least the floor wasn’t shaking
The receptionist which was kind assured me that the club closes and 22:00 that happened on Sunday on Monday it closed at 23:10 and on Tuesday I had to go down and bring it to her attention that the club is still operating at 23:30.
At the end of my stay, I was charged the full amount of a superior double room when in fact I was staying in a double room with a shower.
I asked the hotel manager why you charged me for the better room his answer was that that’s what I booked.
Breakfast was below average didn’t have many options
Pool was not heated
There are better options to stay at

A very cute hotel in Obertauern, good location and very close to the slopes. Ski course meeting point is just around the corner. The hotel is currently being renovated so it is a design mix between classic and modern looks. Unfortunately, they are mainly promoting the new rooms though and thus creating a bit of a wrong expectation.
Their wellness area includes a pool and different saunas. You can also book massages at extra charge. Breakfast and dinner are very good and way above average. Service is friendly and quick. Cleanliness in all areas as well as in the rooms is exceptional. Overall a very nice experience.

Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. Car garage 100m from hotel. Coffee shop with very tasty apfelstrudel. I was staying in single room which was renovated recently. You can get easily to slopes on each sides of Obertauern. One side is accessible via tiny ski lift is on the back of hotel, second side - you need to do ~200-300 of ski touring.
