Fantastic family run Hotel..with super location to 12er Kogel lift and Ski Kire next door..aswell as great Apres Bar 5 minutes walk behind the Hotel..rooms were lovely and food excellent...we will stay again as the service was 10 out of 10..

We went cycling and hiking with the family. We were very satisfied with everything. The staff is very kind and helpful. Every part of the hotel is clean, sophisticated and cozy. The wellness area is also fantastic.
The location is also perfect, in a quiet and peaceful place, with a beautiful view, in the immediate vicinity of two lifts.

🍽️ The food is authentic Austrian cuisine, which is commendable. However, it's worth noting that they charge for tap water, a practice common in Austria but that doesn't make it any less contentious. It's a debatable issue, as water is often considered a basic necessity and charging for it can seem unjust, especially for skiers who rely on hydration*. Additionally, it's important to mention that in Austria, the price of tap water should be clearly stated on the menu, which wasn't the case at this hotel.

🔒 The ski locker room is modern and spacious, which enhances the skiing experience. However, the absence of locks on the lockers is a notable drawback, undermining the fundamental purpose of a locker room.

🚠 The hotel's proximity to one of the best gondolas in the ski area is undoubtedly convenient. Nonetheless, the requirement to walk in ski boots across a slippery car park to reach it detracts from the overall experience.

Ultimately, while these negatives may overshadow the guest experience, they are relatively minor and could be swiftly rectified by the hotel if they so choose.

🐾 One final comment: Despite the hotel's claim of allowing dogs, there is a notable discrepancy between their policy and practice. A notice handed to us threatens guests with a substantial fee of 200EUR and mandates them to take home and launder the sheets should any dog hairs be found on them. This policy not only undermines the notion of a welcoming environment for guests with canine companions but also casts a shadow on the overall hospitality ethos of the establishment. The starkness of this notice, even to those without pets, may foster an unwelcoming atmosphere and detract from the inclusive ambiance that every guest anticipates. Such a policy runs counter to the spirit of true pet-friendly accommodation, where efforts are made to accommodate furry friends without imposing onerous penalties on guests. In aligning with the principles of genuine hospitality, the hotel would ensure a more welcoming experience for all patrons. 🐾

Yet, providing free water to a passerby while charging guests raises other concerns. This conundrum spotlights the ethics of water provision in hospitality. The solution? Extend the courtesy of free water to all—guests and passersby alike. Such a principle not only ensures access to a fundamental human need but also fosters inclusivity and fairness. This approach, taken elsewhere, leaves no doubt about the establishment's welcoming nature and is therefore the sound business move. 🌟

Hospitality is providing good service, within seconds after a question they help. Also charging the car worked perfectly on their own private parking

Great Location and nice Hotel bar realy nice renovated Rooms 100 m to the cablecar and slope

It was perfect all round. The rooms were renovated in 2019 and very well done! The perfect mix of modern and traditional details.
The food was perfect, we never had anything to complain about on any day. The meat comes from their own animals that live on an alpine pasture at the head of the valley! The location is also very central but still quiet. An all-round perfect stay with very nice and courteous hosts! We will definitely be back!
