Best Hotel experience in the World! We already visited with our family a lot of countries in the world, we've stayed in quiet a few Hotels but there is only one Hotel we're we go to again every year and that is Alpenhof in Hintertux! Great place, great service, best food!

I was first introduced to the Alpenhof in the late1980’s by a very close friend, the world famous German Industrial Designer Ingo Maurer who died in 2019 (aged 87) and it was an immediate feeling of having discovered a sanctuary which would endure. The Alpenhof and Hintertux proved from the first encounter the ideal retreat to escape to and “recharge”. Now that it has been my turn to pass the age of 80 I have succumbed to the indulgence of returning to this blissful establishment winter and summer for the past 10 years. The younger generation of the Dengg family now run the place with the same dedication to the concept of all-round quality: be it service, food, choice of health centred activities, etc.. all provided in the most natural and unpretentious manner. Despite my advancing years, I cannot see any reason not to look forward to a few more years of indulging in the hospitality of the place..and keep on skiing, winter and summer! Patrick Dormoy.

Magnificent hotel. The service is outstanding, warm, attentive and always professional. Everything is spotless, and the entire team is genuinely friendly. The wellness area is exceptional, and the food is simply sublime. We have stayed twice in the Genießerstube, the hotel’s Michelin‑starred restaurant, and it exceeds our expectations every single time. This was our second stay in just nine months, which already says enough. We arrived home only a few days ago and have already booked again for next year’s Easter holiday. Our two daughters are also huge fans of the hotel. Hotel Alpenhof remains one of our absolute favourites.

The pension is a typical skiers hotel. Breakfast was great and all the facilities were good. Bus to the gondala lift from the hotel entrance or a 13 min walk. They have single rooms and do offer a sauna from 4pm.

Hotel Alpenhof is a very pleasant family-run hotel located close to the cable car station to Hintertux. Even though we stayed there while a new part of the hotel was being built, we did not have any negative experience related to the construction. We liked everything about the hotel. I especially have to highlight the excellent service and the very friendly staff. Whatever we needed, they were always happy to help. Another great experience was the outstanding food in the hotel from excellent breakfasts to perfect dinners. The dinners were truly a wonderful culinary experience! We had a beautiful and very spacious room with a balcony. The hotel also offers parking in a garage, which is another advantage. A ski shuttle stops close to the hotel every 10 minutes and takes you to the Hintertux Glacier ski resort. After skiing, you can stop by the hotel for a quick afternoon snack, which is a great idea, perhaps a bit of salad and a dessert like excellent Kaiserschmarrn. I also have to mention the excellent spa area, which we used a lot after skiing. I know that from June this year a new spa area will be added, and we are really looking forward to coming back again.

Alpenhof consistently is a treat. It was our 5th stay at Alpenhof. As during previous visits, we were pampered: the food is delicious (honest ingredients, sublime cooking, beautiful decoration of plates), the spa is wonderful (what is offered, the great comfort, the quality of the massages is outstanding (as every year: thank you Peter!)), rooms are spacious with ample closet space, staff is welcoming.

We stayed in Alpenhof this January for already the 14th time. It is always a pleasure to return to this hotel, which offers a luxurious experience in fine dining, hospitality and wellness. Even the single rooms are very spacious, clean and cosy. The hotel also foresees different activities during the week, of which the sledding evening and first-ones-on-the-slopes morning are two that we would very much recommend. In general, we will for sure return again to this extraordinary hotel and we look forward to also see the new part that they are currently building!

The Alpenhof never fails to deliver joy and delight. We arrived exhausted and left revived and happy to have chosen to spend Christmas at this fabulous hotel. Every attention to detail was spot on, including carols by the Christmas tree with the Dengg family leading a charming Christmas Eve celebration. Thank you, Dengg family and Alpenhof team.

The best hotel ever. This was our twentieth visit, and every time we think it can't get any better, but it always does. A hotel where every detail is taken care of.
