Best Hotel experience in the World! We already visited with our family a lot of countries in the world, we've stayed in quiet a few Hotels but there is only one Hotel we're we go to again every year and that is Alpenhof in Hintertux! Great place, great service, best food!

I was first introduced to the Alpenhof in the late1980’s by a very close friend, the world famous German Industrial Designer Ingo Maurer who died in 2019 (aged 87) and it was an immediate feeling of having discovered a sanctuary which would endure. The pension is a typical skiers hotel. Breakfast was great and all the facilities were good. Bus to the gondala lift from the hotel entrance or a 13 min walk. They have single rooms and do offer a sauna from 4pm.

I stayed in Neuhintertux for five nights with my wife and two of my children during February half term week. There’ are so many things to love about this hotel, but number one are the staff, who are incredibly friendly all the time, they are the hotel! It may have once been a 4-star hotel, but that's long gone. The entire building is showing its age, and clearly nothing is being done to stop the deterioration. Nothing was too much trouble. I had agreed to share a room with a friend. Little did I know what an Austrian twin room was( google it if you don’t know) we had already had a nightmare journey getting to the resort due to plane cancellations and bad weather, only to find that I had to share a bed with my mate. Exceptional luxury for the price. Best trained / professional service staff that I have seen in a small hotel in a long time. Easy slope access. Restaurant - a few of the dishes seemed to be reaching / excessively creative, which some in our party loved while others would have appreciated more common comfort food. We've already had several wonderful stays (both summer and winter) in the holiday apartments at the Mehlerhof in Madseit in the Zillertal Valley. The apartments are very clean, comfortably furnished, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed two times in the apartments. They are spacious, well equipped and well positioned. We were 3 adults and 3 children.

Fair pricing, parking space, only 2-3 bus-stops away from cable-car. Wanted another room in the same category, just for the view. Host din not allow it, even if the room was free and we were staying for 6 nights. Otherwise, a fair place. (Hintertux cables and slopes, however, far from the best I've seen).

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel during our Christmas ski vacation. The rooms were cozy and spotless, with beautiful views that made every morning feel special. This hotel is amazing the rooms are perfect with some sodas already in the fridge, the bed can be put everywhere. The room was very nice, warm, cosy, and homely. Everything you could ask for from a hotel. Beds are super soft, perfect for after a long days ski. There is a nice room to heat your boots and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever seen. Dinner was less impressive, but it's easy enough to get to hintertux and eat there.
