The family who have run this lovely hotel for several generations really understand hospitality, and they devote boundless energy to making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. This was our third visit, and we were again greatly impressed by so many things - the food, comfortable room, excellent spa facilities (especially the rooftop pool), super-helpful reception, friendly and professional staff. We seemed to be the only Brits, but everyone was very adept at communicating in English.

The Tuxerhof is simply the best hotel we have stayed in. It is personal,family run and maintains an incredibly high standard. We have visited it 25 times in the past 20 years. It continue to offer more and moe amenities. Suoer place. Karel Raska.

Our family (parents and two adult kids with their wives) spend the last week in February at the Tuxerhof. As usual, we were greeted like family and the vacation started right as we arrived. From the fantastic skiing (they now have a tour for an early bird access to the glacier) to snowshoeing and tobogganing to the sauna experience and the delicious food, everything was first class. Apparently, this was our tenth time there, so we were honored by the major with a small celebration and some gifts and pins. Afterwards, Andrea and Mario took us to the apres ski place next door (the famous Hexenkessel, which is also owned by the Tuxerhof) to celebrate. The next morning, we were tired. Now that we're back home, were a bit sad, but luckily, we already booked our next stay for next year.

A truly authentic place to relax and enjoy the friendliness of Austria. If you really want to experience Austrian hospitality, the Tuxerhof is the place to go. Everything is worked out with so much care and attention to details, that you feel to be in a different world.

This hotel does not disappoint, year for year. The quality of the personnel, food, activities, amenities are second to none. The spa & sauna is clean, has loads of possibilities and gives you all the peace and quiet you need. The food and its quality is great and the chefs take unusual wishes with a smile. You have a wide range of rooms to choose from. The cleaning personnel is also brilliant. The owners are always present and are very engaged and friendly.

Another wonderful holiday at Tuxerhof! Everyone so very welcoming and friendly. The food is fantastic with special attention for my husband who is gluten free. The hotel is exceptionally relaxing and the setting is superb, with beautiful walks up to the alpine meadows from the front door. We will be back!!

I visited Tuxerhof Alpin Spa with my 11 year old son for the 4th or the 5th time. Which probably says everything (I usually don't repeat holiday locations). The place is simply perfect. Whether the cosy and comfortable rooms, the fantastic food, the different pools including infinity pool on the roof terrace and jacuzzi (hard to get my son out of the latter), the playground with table-football and table-tennis facilities, the vast sauna options, the well equipped gym, everything is just great. Best of all is the always polite and attentive staff, which makes you feel at home rather than in a hotel. It's the perfect place to feel well even on days when the weather isn't great and doesn't allow proper skiing.
