Really enjoyed our week with our friends and family at the Hotel. Very friendly service and just a short walk up to the Flying Mozart Lift.

Fantastic place with great hospitality. Very children friendly with a lovely garden with a trampoline and much more. Great host who goes out of his way to make sure you feel at home, with again extra attention towards the kids. Couldn’t be more pleased with our stay.

Just returned home from a lovely 4 night stay at the Pension Oberauer with my sister. The hotel is perfectly situated in the pretty Kirchboden area of Wagrain just a short 8-10 min walk from Flying Mozart lift station. The ski bus stops are super close if you don’t want to walk or wish to start or end your day at the Grafenberg station. The rooms are spotlessly clean and warm, with a modern & comfortable design. Breakfast was superb; we couldn’t have asked for more. The butter dispenser literally put a smile on my face each morning.
What’s especially lovely about this hotel is the genuine warm welcome. Guests have use of the dining room until 10pm, so can eat takeaway dinners, buy drinks from the honesty bar or the coffee machine; and read or play board games (plenty to choose from).
The hotel is perfect - a rare diamond in today’s world - a fully independent family business (and home) offering an exceptional level of accommodation and facilities while staying true to traditional and environmental values. They really have found the perfect balance.
We are so pleased we have found the Pension Oberauer - it will definitely be our 1st choice when we return to Wagrain.
Highly recommend. 10/10.

A small family run hotel. Homely and comfortable and very well looked after by the staff. Fantastic location near Flying Mozart Lift (400m) and short walk down hill into village. Plenty of parking to rear and garden out the front. All very informal and relaxing. Continental Breakfast offering excellent, with variation each day. Weren't serving evening meals, but loads of restaurants nearby

Amazing stay! Lovely staff members that are extremely friendly and helpful! On top of that, very nice breakfast and a really nice room! Very clean, too! The parking space was also big enough for multiple cars and because it was so close to the front door it made moving our stuff into the hotel a piece of cake. Thanks Florian and staff!

We have spent a few days at Oberauer hotel.
It it a family friendly, warm and cozy hotel. You can see that the owner truly cares about the place and guests. We had a very nice 2 bedroom apartment. All the furniture are in a great condition and bathroom was clean and updated to a very good standard.
Breakfast is good quality.
We highly recommend this place to stay.

Oberauer Wagrain is a wonderful alpine retreat. Beautiful location with mountain view from room and patio. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The room and bathroom were modern, beds very comfortable, breakfast good and with local products. We liked the location, walkable to the center, quiet at night and convenient for sightseeing.
I enjoyed watching the morning sun moving down the mountain from the patio in the morning.
One of the highlights of our alpine trip!

We just came back from an amazing holiday and stay in Pension Oberauer. Your host, Florian, welcomes you with the biggest smile and shares all the info you need, from being sustainable/eco friendly to daily events in the town. Breakfast is all you need for, we very much enjoyed the family style, the big variety and suggestions. We really felt at home and after days full activities we could always find a spot in the breakfast room or patio to chill. Rooms are super clean and spacious, we had the suite on the ground floor and would book it again and again. Thank you Florian and Opa for a great stay.
