Hotel Plainbrucke | Self Check-IN in Salzburg

A small hotel on the outskirts of the city. Excellently connected to the center by public transport, the station is a minute from the hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy with classic Austrian motifs. Breakfast is possible in the restaurant next door, where you can also eat pizza, which is 3.5/5, and drink beer. All in all, a good recommendation.

Very nice place, clean rooms, no issues with check in and check out. Ideal bus stops in front of the hotel to get downtown. Compliments.

Surprisingly, Solo room has a private sauna!!! Highly recommend for solo travelers who want to relax at the sauna. (I’m not sure about other rooms)
The hotel is in a quiet area, but not too far from the central station. (10mins) There are several shops, drugstore, supermarket and bakery, just 1 min far on foot.
Lack of some useful facilities such as refrigerator, kettle and elevator. But the atmosphere is very cozy, it reminds me of the world of “sound of music”.

Hotel in a convenient location one minute from the bus stop and 10 minutes by bus from the center. Large room with rustic wooden furniture and carpet. No air conditioning and hot room in August. Poorly darkened windows and glass bathroom door with little privacy. On the bed there were the typical sleeping bags to sleep in but the mattress cover had some stains. Very rich breakfast with a wide choice of sweet and savory and friendly staff

great organization that welcomes customers with a self check in, and really nice rooms. From the outside it doesn't look like it but it is really very beautiful inside in Tyrolean style, great privacy, great breakfast, great car parking, right under the balcony of the room. What can I say? Try it!

It was a very good stay for 2 nights
Location is very nice with a S-bahn station and bus station within a walk less than 1 minute.
The breakfast was good.
Checking in and out went very smooth.
Rooms could be better equipped.

I was skeptical about the self-checkin because I haven't tried it before, but it was so easy and convenient! The room is so beautiful too, I wish I could stay longer. I have to say it is one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. Very clean. Relaxing ambience too. Value for money.

So happy with the management team as well. The hotel manager promptly replied to my request when I made my reservation a day prior. Also during checking out, I have a very heavy luggage but a hotel staff helped me out. Really grateful for the help. I can't speak German but everyone in the hotel had been helpful and nice to me.

Also, I got the breakfast package. It is a buffet and everything served was hearty and delicious. You get a lot for the price you pay!

The room was a bit too warm due to the lack of air conditioning and warm weather, but otherwise very nice and clean.
