Fantastic restaurant. The Thai food is amazing. Eaten here several times over the last couple of years and it never disappoints.

Perfect location right in the centre of Zell am Zee. The hotel has friendly and helpful reception staff and the rooms are well cleaned and warm.A good choice of hot or cold food for breakfast. Don’t forget to ask for the free SALZBURG area tourist card ( for free transport) at reception. The brasserie serves some reasonable THAI food and service is good ( table booking advised) . The house zweigelt red wine is excellent.

From the outside, it's an older building, but nothing special. The interior felt very rambling and confusing. The reception staff were very friendly and immediately pointed out the Wi-Fi. The room was very basic but clean. The central heating radiator was wobbly. The faucet nozzle at the sink probably hadn't been checked in a long time. Breakfast was average, but the selection was rather limited. The coffee was atrocious. They're definitely cutting corners in the wrong place. For a hotel right in the city center, there's a lot of room for improvement.

What an amazing week with 20 colleagues we’ve had at Hotel Traube. We’ve stayed for an extra day, which was easily arranged with the hotel. The staff is very amicable and personal, the rooms are neat and spacious and the location is perfect! We would recommend staying here.

Hotel had everything we needed and was great it was two rooms for the family room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a large choice considering the size of hotel. Was some noise from the bar on the corner at night but with window shut noise was fine on upper floors. Would stay again without hesitation. Great central town location.

I haven't stayed at this hotel but I must give a review to the restaurant and bar. Food, service and atmosphere are second to none. All staff members were kind, thoughtful, extremely mannerly and made for a good night. I must mention Felix in particular, what a lovely young man and credit to his parents. Well done all, will definitely be back 😊

Review of restaurant only. We had 5 nights in Zell Am See and ate here on 3 of them! Good menu, great food and good service too.

Just had the pad Thai and spring rolls here and they were possibly the best pad Thai and spring rolls I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely on the pricey side but what isn’t pricey in Zell. Definitely worth it. Service was great.

We stayed at Hotel Traube for 1 night during a 4 night stay in Zell am See. We were staying at an apartment in Zell am See and lost our apartment card while we were on a night out and could not get in touch with anyone for help. They were in the process of closing the restaurant and I approached a young man to ask if they had any rooms free for that night. He was so kind and immediately sorted us out with a room and toothbrushes as we only had the clothes we were standing in. The room was spotlessy clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed and pillow. There was soap and shampoo and shower gel. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much to the kind young man who helped us, we will be eternally grateful. The hotel was also excellent value and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Very friendly administrator. Mrs. Segel, the owner of the hotel, is also very friendly and attentive to detail. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. What we especially liked is that you can use the Alpenblick's wellness area and that the hotel is a summer card partner.

My friends and I have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years now and love everything about it. Ursula and the team are so friendly and helpful and cater for all your needs. There is always 5/6 of us so we always use one of the big rooms which is just perfect for a group of men. The location is excellent with everything you need on your doorstep and the gondolas only a simple 10 minute walk. The hotel also has spa facilities which is always nice after a long days ski (or late night!). Booking with Ursula is easy and we will continue to use this friendly, clean and convenient hotel.

Such an awful experience. Not comfortable at all. Very noisy and you can’t sleep all night. Absolutely very rude staff! Elevator doesn’t reach 3rd floor onwards. Breakfast is not fresh nor edible. We won’t consider visiting Zell am See again because they really made us hate it. Very racist to Arabs and Muslims.

Great location, awesome service and fantastic personnel that knows the fine line between being professional and giving a personal experience. Food was nice and the rooms were great. Overall an awesome experience!
