This place is a great stop over location if you are travelling from Innsbruck to Salzburg as I was. The hotel is in a great location right in town and near the lake. The room was clean, had the essentials but not as well equipped as some hotels - you can ask for a kettle but not cups/mugs for tea or coffee or iron/ironing board. Neither are a big deal but we were changing hotels on a daily basis so both would’ve been useful. It is easy to find and there is free parking. I would defo stay here again.

Not the best option
Hotel has friendly staff, easy parking, and nice breakfast. But the condition is worn, the location is noisy on a busy road, and noise from hallway and floor above are a concern. Shower water temp varies dangerously at times.

Calm and relax
Two nights in the hotel without any problem. The staff were amazing and helpful. It is very close to city center (and I believe we wouldn’t be closer then this). The city is crowded especially in weekends. The breakfast was really good. Generally we liked our stay here and definitely recommend for your visit.

Overpriced for the quality
I’m surprised by the overall high rating of this hotel. While it offers convenient parking (€8/night) and a decent breakfast, my one-night stay was underwhelming.

The room and bathroom were quite small, which is somewhat expected in European cities, but the lack of comfort was disappointing. The bed itself was fine, but the single provided pillow was so thin it might as well have not been there.

The biggest letdown, however, was the towels. For the price charged, I expected better quality—instead, they were small, worn out, and, most frustratingly, visibly dirty.

Given these issues, I can’t recommend this hotel, at least not for the current price

The room heater was on for one night and it was still cold. The pillows were thin, the windows were a bit drafty, there was a socket at the head of the bed, but no kettle.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was very good, (good coffee) and staff very nice and helpful.
Location is great, right in the centre close to ski lift and all the restaurants and lake. The only thing i would suggest for improval would definitely be the pillows and earlier breakfast times (it started at 7.30), because the ski lifts open at 8. Would be nice if the parking was included in the booking price for a peace of mind, i guess we missed that when we booked the holiday, it is separate from the hotel, 5 euros a day, we didn t notice on booking. Luckly we had money left:)
Thank you for a beautiful holiday, the view is beautiful, the hotel is cosy, good heating unlike other more expensive hotels we ve been before. We would go back here and this town is picture perfect as well.

Spent a wonderful week here with my family. Hotel is conveniently located in center of the town and close to the ski lift. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hotel is clean and well run. great breakfast every morning. Highly recommended.

Great location in Zell am See, easy walk to the lake in 5 minutes, 15 minutes from Kaprin for skiing or hiking. Easy access to beautiful Salzburg. Simple, clean with a good traditional breakfast. Good price gor this area!

Very friendly administrator. Mrs. Segel, the owner of the hotel, is also very friendly and attentive to detail. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. What we especially liked is that you can use the Alpenblick's wellness area and that the hotel is a summer card partner.

My friends and I have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years now and love everything about it. Ursula and the team are so friendly and helpful and cater for all your needs. There is always 5/6 of us so we always use one of the big rooms which is just perfect for a group of men. The location is excellent with everything you need on your doorstep and the gondolas only a simple 10 minute walk. The hotel also has spa facilities which is always nice after a long days ski (or late night!). Booking with Ursula is easy and we will continue to use this friendly, clean and convenient hotel.

Such an awful experience. Not comfortable at all. Very noisy and you can’t sleep all night. Absolutely very rude staff! Elevator doesn’t reach 3rd floor onwards. Breakfast is not fresh nor edible. We won’t consider visiting Zell am See again because they really made us hate it. Very racist to Arabs and Muslims.
Doesn’t deserve even a single star. What a waste.
