Stayed in February 2026, loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. The hotel staff were so friendly it was like coming home to a warm family. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful in every way and made our first trip to Austria a joy. I would happily stay here again. They were very accommodating to English speakers and skiers. Also the breakfast was a highlight of each day!

Great place to stay and you feel welcome right from the start. Owner is passionate star gazer and hotel has great pictures of stars and comets taken around Innsbruck. Easy commute free of charge to city Centre with guest card. Hotel has Finnish sauna that you can reserve. Very good breakfast with canned fruit from owner’s own garden.

A family-run Austria Classic Hotel Heiligkreuz in Hall in Tirol, although not the modern one, is absolutely appropriate in case if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet facility with a beautiful view over nearby mountains. My double bedroom has a TV, safe, bathroom & WC, and hair dryer. Cleaning was on a daily basis. Breakfast offers a variety of different foods: eggs, hams, handmade local sausages, local cheese, cereals, fruits, jams, pasties, milk, tea, super-quality coffee, etc. However, absolutely highlights and „must-taste“ were self-made various breads (baked by the chef himself) and self-made apple juice (an apple tree could be seen in the garden close to the hotel :). The hotel has a bar in the lobby offering local, super-quality beer. And finally, all the staff, including the members of three generations of hotel-run family, are at your service all the time. Definitely my first choice hotel for my next stay in Hall in Tirol. Strong recommendation for Austria Classic Hotel Heiligkreuz.

Lovely Stay Just Outside of Innsbruck
Warm and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. Easy bus service to Innsbruck with the guest card. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants in old town to explore. Overall, a lovely experience!

Very comfortable and cozy rooms with great views. The breakfast was amazing, especially with the homemade items from their garden! Very friendly staff too.
Hall in Tirol is a really cool town -- much less crowded than Innsbruck but with scenic streets and churches.

All the staffs are very helpful and made you feel welcomed :) it’s our pleasure staying here for the new year holiday! Breakfast got what it needs and the bread / coffee is good

Location is great too to access different ski resorts and the tourist spots!

I have been coming to Hall for 50 years to visit a friend. This was my first stay at Hotel Heiligkreuz. I found a gem. The family-run hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood just north of old town, a ten-minute walk from the hotel. My second-story room was basic with a comfortable bed, sofa and table, bathroom, and a balcony with a gorgeous view of the Alps. Everything was immaculate. A typical Austrian spread was available for breakfast on the first floor (second for Americans). Off the main entrance is a small bar with seating and additional seating on the other side of the room. A table and chairs are available outside on the porch. My greatest praise is for the family. They were warm, helpful, and friendly. The mother recommended that I take an alternate bus into Innsbruck from a stop down the block. I had never taken that route before and it was breathtaking, through small mountain villages leading directly to the heart of Innsbruck. Family members made other travel recommendations and were so kind. There are fancier hotels, but if you are looking for an authentic Austrian experience, try Hotel Heiligkreuz. I can't wait to return.
