Unbeatable location, but highly overpriced for the services provided. Reception desk was hardly ever occupied and wasn’t available for both check-in and check-out, though check-in was possible by receiving the key via a key box on the back door. It’s recommendable to pay and fill out the digital guest sheet in advance. Rooms are spacious but the beds way too soft (for my taste) and the (high) room temperature can’t be adjusted. Also bring earplugs for the city view (back alley view) rooms as it can get quite noisy during the night.

Lovely hotel in a great central location in Gmunden. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was included and comprised a wide selection of good quality options. We definitely never started the day hungry.

Great and clean hotel with beautiful lake views. The location is very central, just a few meters away from the central square. There're plenty of cafes and restaurants around. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel and the landscape through the windows is absolutely amazing!!! The breakfast also it was delicious and all the employees were so cute and polite. Thanks for regarding me such a beatiful days!

Well located downtown and on the lakefront. Clean and friendly service.
No air conditioning in room and common areas. Good breakfast. No coffee/ tea service or refrigerator in room. Safe box in room didn't work, and not secured to closet.

Kind receptionist, excelent room view and place for stay. Cute city and lake! Few warm nice bars and restaurant close to Hotel. Gmudnen Keramik museum and lake castle just by walking distance. Very romantic view and stay.

It is the second time that we have stayed in this hotel. Last time it was during the summer, now it was during Christmas time. We had a room with a lake view. The room was big and comfortable, and the view was amazing, like always. The bed was very comfortable too. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the town and in front of the lake. If you like Christmas markets, we highly recommend coming during the weekend. The breakfast is superb and the staff is helpful, always smiling and ready to help. It is one of our favourite places in Austria!
