Great hotel. Quiet location, right by the lake, tasty breakfast, and very friendly and professional service. Would definitely stay again.
I do have some feed back for the hotel, to make the stay even better:
- There is no telephone in the room, hard to reach front desk if needed
- Internet in room is slow
- Breakfast buffet is good, but limited warm meal options
- Room shower did not have soap dispenser, only very little toiletries bottles which ran out after a use or two. Hard for two people.

A noce place in a wonderful environment. The building doesn't feel really Austrian anymore, but eventhough has been renovated wonderfully. Good and clean rooms, great breakfast. Only negative feeling was the missing of a restaurant, but this is maybe only in the low season the case.

The accommodation impresses with its family atmosphere, beautiful lake view, and exceptionally varied breakfast buffet. It's also ideal as a starting point for excursions in the Salzkammergut region. We felt very comfortable at the lake hotel and will definitely come back :)

Lovely family hotel
overlooking the lake. The owners of the hotel are very hospitable. All staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are fully renovated. Our room with sauna was big and comfortable, with large and convenient bed . Good wi-fi.

We highly recommend this beautiful hotel near the lake. We were delighted with the friendly atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast simply amazing! We spent 5 pleasant days here and will definitely be back again.

Traunsee is a great area to recharge and Seehotel is the best accommodation to rest in Traunsee. While it is not located within the main city area this provides a tranquil and peaceful area to recharge away from the hustle and bustle. It is just 10mins walk away and the stroll allows you to walk along the lake and take in the fresh air. Seating at the balcony provides a great view of the mountains and lake as well. Breakfast is included but wished there was a simple coffee machine in the room. The reception lady, Ms Johanna was most helpful and patient, she helped us with reservations and shared great recommendations with us. Will choose to stay here again.
