Where to stay with kids in Austria

Fantastic! Around the winter, snow mountains, snow falls, and I lay in the warm water under the open sky! Oh, and also, at the entrance we were given a paper that is written there we don't understand, but then asked, was that included in the price (or the action was, Hz) a glass of delicious Vino

It was literally amazing time for me to spend there! Lovely room, wonderful view, unique pool, special meals, perfect sauna.. I cannot forget about them!

If you buy the Day Spa package, be aware that the tea, water and sunbeds are only available in the swimming pool area on the 2nd floor

Room view was fabulous and the spa facilities was good. The only downside was photo taking were restricted in some areas and staff at the spa were not the friendliest and a smile would help. Overall a good experience.

This place can be one of the best relaxing experiences in Winter. The view, quality and atmosphere

Perfect place for staying with your family! A lot of facilities for both children and adults. Hotel in the middle of Bad Hofgastein, only 10 min to ski slope.

Lovely staff and fantastic service and awesome food. Spa is amazing and the outdoors therme pool is wonderful and warm. Highly recommend this awesome hotel and its amazing staff and spa

We especially loved being able to open the windows and breathe in the crisp, fresh mountain air. The on-site restaurant is nothing short of extraordinary

Wellness center, very nicely decorated swimming pool with many sun loungers. Saunas, steam baths, water beds, infrared loungers, everything is available. The beauty salon has a very wide selection of different procedures

Incredible hotel for a family vacation with very hospitable staff. The food was great and the facilities are very good too. Stayed a week and can’t fault anything! It was a carefree holiday

Although I traveled alone this time, I genuinely wished my kids had been with me — everything is designed for them: spacious rooms, kid-friendly dining, amazing pools, outdoor spaces, and above all, the kids’ club (welcoming even the youngest guests 👶)

The location is ideally located, you are about 5 minutes walk from the train station and then right in the center of the village. I would love to return and can only recommend this excellent hotel

Great place, can't really fault it. Pools and spa are excellent. Food was great. Staff were excellent. Overall a great experience.

Das Edelweiss offers excellent wellness facilities and a very relaxing atmosphere overall. The pool areas are particularly impressive, with several beautifully maintained spaces to unwind

The breakfast buffet and dinner service is incredible, as were all of the kids activities. Our 9 year old had a blast on the slides and in the kids/teens rooms. The outdoor pools are quite something

The hotel conditions and facilities are above all expectations, the children had their own activities in the 4 Playrooms. The food in the restaurants was amazing, Michelin style

The 25-meter pool is a real highlight: perfectly clean, at a very comfortable temperature, and ideal both for proper swimming and relaxation even when snowing!

In general, the spa and pool facilities are clearly the hotel’s strongest features and are maintained in excellent condition. There are, however, several aspects that could be improved

Also lots of noise from the streets during the night. We do believe that you would have a 5 star experience if you'd stay in the renovated part of the hotel, because that looks really nice

Beautiful experience, great value for money. Plenty of wellness facilities, all very clean - we particularly liked the infinity pool on the rooftop. Amazing panoramic views of the mountains

Excellent location in Alpendorf, which is a great ski area for families. A very short walk to the gondola

We also really liked the panorama swimming pool (adults only)! We stayed in the vis a vis building, which I would not recommend. The hotel shows beautiful modern pictures but the vis a vis building is really old

Since then we have returned on many occasions, sometimes for Xmas with our family, sometimes at other months in the skiing season but also in the summer as a couple The Schoenegg always lives up to our expectations combining great efficiency, superb friendliness from everyone there and a warmth of hospitality which surely cannot be surpassed

After a long absence we returned to the Schönegg for our ski holiday and we had a really lovely stay. The family hosts and the staff are all so very welcoming, friendly and warm. The bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing

There is also free storage of skis in the basement available. Moreover, there is a kids play corner with amazing toys, which my son greately enjoyed amd we appreciated. The ski fields are only a few minutes away by foot

This is a wonderful hotel which is why we have stayed here many times. We've just spent Christmas week here together with family - a party of 14

The location is top for skiing, cross-country and to the charming village of Seefeld, all possible by foot. We can’t wait to return again, thank you!
