Where to stay with kids in Austria

Fantastic! Around the winter, snow mountains, snow falls, and I lay in the warm water under the open sky! Oh, and also, at the entrance we were given a paper that is written there we don't understand, but then asked, was that included in the price (or the action was, Hz) a glass of delicious Vino

It was literally amazing time for me to spend there! Lovely room, wonderful view, unique pool, special meals, perfect sauna.. I cannot forget about them!

If you buy the Day Spa package, be aware that the tea, water and sunbeds are only available in the swimming pool area on the 2nd floor

Room view was fabulous and the spa facilities was good. The only downside was photo taking were restricted in some areas and staff at the spa were not the friendliest and a smile would help. Overall a good experience.

This place can be one of the best relaxing experiences in Winter. The view, quality and atmosphere

Das Edelweiss offers excellent wellness facilities and a very relaxing atmosphere overall. The pool areas are particularly impressive, with several beautifully maintained spaces to unwind

The breakfast buffet and dinner service is incredible, as were all of the kids activities. Our 9 year old had a blast on the slides and in the kids/teens rooms. The outdoor pools are quite something

The hotel conditions and facilities are above all expectations, the children had their own activities in the 4 Playrooms. The food in the restaurants was amazing, Michelin style

The 25-meter pool is a real highlight: perfectly clean, at a very comfortable temperature, and ideal both for proper swimming and relaxation even when snowing!

Also lots of noise from the streets during the night. We do believe that you would have a 5 star experience if you'd stay in the renovated part of the hotel, because that looks really nice

We also really liked the panorama swimming pool (adults only)! We stayed in the vis a vis building, which I would not recommend. The hotel shows beautiful modern pictures but the vis a vis building is really old

Nice hotel in the city center, a restaurant, a bar, a business center, delicious Breakfast with organic products, nice staff, heaters in the bathroom. Classic the rooms are small but cozy and comfortable

This hotel is incredibly close to the subway station, just a few dozen meters from the entrance/exit

When I stayed, there was some construction going on in the area, so pay attention to the signs for both subway directions. The food here is excellent, and the bar stays open quite late, serving both lunch and dinner

Best hotel in Vienna where I enjoyed my time spent in the hotel. It has Friendly staff, nice, neat and clean rooms. It’s the room service which it keeping it so nice and tidy. It has Sauna and pool as well

The hotel location is a bit far away, but it is right next to the river. The view is amazing!! They also have a sauna for the guests and a swimming pool.

I would especially highlight the quietness of the rooms and the good sound insulation – perfect for relaxation. The staff is professional, friendly, and always ready to help, which further enhances the overall experience

I would also like to mention that the hotel offers a convenient outdoor parking area right next to the property, available for an additional charge, which is a great benefit for guests arriving by car

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Vienna Waterfront, mainly thanks to Alexandra. Her service was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I was especially impressed by her responsiveness on the Hilton App

And, the price is very reasonable. And, right outside my window is a beautiful Orthodox Church. Last, the hotel is located within walking distance to several restaurants and bars

No downsides whatsoever, other than being a bit far from the city center. The hotel is spacious, clean, and I was satisfied with everything

Location is very convenient, only 5 mins walk from the closest station. Environment is perfect with swimming pool, sauna and gym room. We stayed for three nights and highly recommend others!

Very convenient location, right behind the railway station, 15-20 min from the airport. Spacious, clean rooms with all required amenities. Although there were no hygienic shower in the bathroom

Bed is a little too small. Other than that this is a extremely good hotel for the price. Location is a bit far from the city center but theres a train station right beside the hotel.

There is no place in Vienna that makes better schnitzels, I can assure you. Staff have such attention to details, so professional, so kind, accomodating. Room service is quick and immaculate

The hotel itself oozes class, the staff were so friendly and the hotel is so clean. Really good size bedrooms and comfortable beds. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough to any prospective guests

The hotel is clean and spacious and also very near the underground subway which brings you basically to many places in Vienna

Excellent central location close to everything. Large room, modern bathroom, gym, sauna, pool. Very good choice for Vienna visit.

The service and the room setting are good. Although they arrange the room that is the last room. They help me to pick luggage before checking in and after checking out! The bathroom is fine

But you need to get how to have a shower more easily. Finally, the reception always helped me to charge my mobile phone and power bank batteries

Only drawback was the rooms were a bit too warm. However, all in all a big success

Only fault is the erratic WiFi. It often dropped, making streaming a frustrating experience. The onsite restaurant makes decent pizza at a good price - a decent option if you don't fancy going out

Lovely, quirky hotel in an excellent location. It's an easy walk into central Vienna, and sites like the Parliament, Rathaus and Leopold Museum are practically on the doorstep

Transport links around Vienna are excellent, with the U2 station almost within shouting distance. Staff speak excellent English, and are friendly and helpful. Comfortable, if smallish room, and well sound insulated

I love the fact that this hotel isn't located in the city centre, making it a perfect place to rest. Billa, dm, and Spar are literally a stone’s throw away. The room is spacious, with a balcony and a working station

A great advantage with our room was the balcony. Gives a better space and ability to enjoy the warm nights of Vienna. Good location near to tram, busses and train

Definitely not a 4-star experience… just to give you an idea, the elevator is from 1987, modernized in 2024, but it didn't really improve much – it is what it is

So many supermarkets, cafes, pharmacy and stores right in the same block. An amazing pastry shop right in the hotel. You get 2 free water and 2 free beer

The surrounding facilities are convenient, the hotel is relatively new and clean, the room is large enough and comfortable, and free sparkling water is provided every day

I liked a smell of liquid soap. But it was to hard to take it out, and I didn't liked the concept of washing hair, hands and face with one product, screwed to the wall. Also there wasn't any bathrobe, neither slippers

Breakfast : there was enough tasty food. Unfortunately, I got a piece of rotten red pepper in my mouth, which spoiled the overall impression of the breakfast. The boiled eggs were hard to peel and the omelet was cold

Having a metro station right in front of the hotel and supermarkets just next to it was a great convenience. The breakfast was sufficient and offered a good variety. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly

The reception team welcoming and helpful. I liked a room: good size and enough light, comfortable bed. I didn't like that only coffee maker was there- so I asked about electrical kettle, that I received next day

There was enough choose of cold and hot drinks, even few kinds of latte and hot chocolate. I haven't interaction with team in breakfast room, in general they didn't respond on my "good morning" and didn't smile

There wasn't any choose variety of coffee capsules or tea, and only 2 pockets of sugar and 2 herbal tea pockets( for 2 persons and 2 nights of stay). There was a hairdryer and another electrical socket

Rooms are serviced daily by default, which I found not so necessary and on the second day of my stay I left the "do not disturb" sign

Just an invisible small crack somewhere was opening and very little outside air was flowing in. Central aircon was ok, very quiet. Apart from that, all else was great. Staff were kind and attentive, breakfast was ok

I will my room colder and very well airated, but because of regulations (I would assume), no window could be opened wide enough

The only minus of the room, at least for me, was the otherwise nice pane of windows for a wall, which provides a noce view

The breakfast and staff were excellent, but the housekeeping and maintenance were inefficient (they left us for two days with half of the bathroom sliding door blocked; it's impossible that housekeeping didn't see it and report it before making it available)

Rooms are indeed clean and shiny, bed and pillows are comfortable, room lights are modifiable. The bathroom is reasonably stocked with amenities

With all respect to hotel’s mission to save energy and water, at least in this case you can give the guests options how often to clean the room or the bare minimum - just help to take out trash! Hotel gives no choice at all, providing less than minimum for comfortable stay in clean place

There is a subway station just after the underground passage. The hotel has a rich variety of breakfast and the restaurant environment is very good. The front desk service attitude is good and luggage can be stored

It's just a few minutes walk to Vienna International Center (VIC). Good location for me,as i got events at VIC. The breakfast was ok. But the food didn't change flavour and choices for 12 days. Hope that can improve.

The room and service is usual, on good level. However, the amenities is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Only provided slippers and toothbrush set after we went down to ask

Cleaning the room can be requested but it can only happen one time after the third night! The floor on the third day was already sticky and unpleasant to walk on

The hotel is quite good, especially well located with a metro station a 1 minute walk away, which you can easily connect to in order to get to the city center.

It would be great if they unlocked the hdmi by default. If you get the chance, a walk by the river is a must

Nice 4-star hotel with an indoor pool and sauna. Located right behind the central station, with convenient access to shopping areas. Small gym; however, the lack of disposable cups was a bit inconvenient

The young man at the front desk was very friendly and let us check in early. The room was quite spacious, clean, tidy, and didn't have any strange smells. The swimming pool is really small, more for kids

Huge family room however the room lighting definetely needs UPGRADING! We were given the 2 queen size beds which was great n comfy! Bathroom comes with a bathtub which is ancient n needs upgrading

The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows didn’t provide enough support, but the water pressure in the shower was strong and the temperature was just right

Loved our stay here! The room was spacious and clean, the only downside was its distance from the nearest subway as we had to walk about 10 minutes in the cold to get there

My family and i enjoyed our stay here very much. The hotel looks swanky and from the outset you get the feeling that the guest is indeed their most important focus. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean

The place was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly. They kindly provided me with some complimentary pastries and a generous two welcome drink coupons for the bar.

I stayed at this hotel during one of my business trips and everything was perfect - nice location, good breakfast and extremely friendly staff

Stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean, daily clean up was fine. Breakfast was not buffet, but you could order whatever you want except two on menu

There's a gym and a pool downstairs too. Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good

I stayed for 3 days, and the service mostly met my expectations. They helped with luggage, and the turndown service and daily room cleaning were all provided as they should be. The rooftop bar also offers a nice view

Since it's right next to the City Park, it's very close to the station for the Airport Express (CAT) and places like the Musikverein (Golden Hall)

By the way, buying a city card that includes the airport pass is quite worthwhile (the hop-on hop-off bus didn't seem to have much purpose)

My family and I had a great time and we are very satisfied. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, tidy with all additional contents. Friendly staff, great breakfast. We will definitely come back again.

We had an excellent stay at Radisson. It's very close to the Hauptbahnhof & it was easy to find. Hotel staff was friendly & the rooms were beautiful. Wish room service was available all times!

Although old, they've been well-maintained. Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and comfortable. However, the room hadn't been vacuumed on the second day, and there was trash on the floor. This isn't typical for a chain hotel

It's right next to Mirabell Palace, making it very convenient for attending concerts. Transportation is quite convenient. The breakfast is plentiful, but the service and value for money are just average.

The hotel is very near the train station; a short bus ride drops off at the stop that is a 2 minute distance from the hotel. Also very convenient to get to the town square and main shopping areas

The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted

The hotel had a transfer that we used upon leaving which was convenient with heavy luggage. The only disappointment was a dinner in hotel’s restaurant, for 36€ very modest food choice, not included water or coffee

Family ski holiday in Bad Gastein Great stay. Nice room and nice breakfast and dinner. Shuttle bus to ski lift for 3EUR/person. Ski lift is not far away, but a steep uphill with boots and skis

we hav been here for the second time. We like it a very comfortable Apartment, friendly service. we like the brekfeast roll service and especially the lunch sevice, lunch was always excellent and dinner of course too
