Without a UK transit visa, I bought a new ticket in Baku and stayed there for a while. The airport shuttle bus is convenient, running every 15 minutes during the day and every 40 minutes at night. Rooms are comfortable, cleanliness is the best of what I saw. Good place for a family holiday and temporary shelter. It was second time that we went to Qafqaz Tufandag hotel, this time our expectation weren't that much nice. First time we went there in 2020 and that time it was super, breakfast also was very tasty but this time we experienced something else, we went to sauna there are a lots of tubs need to be repaired, our rooms shower also to.... The room was very big, along with great view from the shared balcony. The AC is not working easily, and we couldn't lock the door to the balcony, neither the main room door. The service is really great and people were very pleasant to us.

It’s is beautiful; and clean. But service was very bad especially during night/evening. For example we arrived in the evening and we ordered baby cot so many times, and it didn’t come until very late after midnight. In general the service was bad. Also the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. Doesn’t deserve 5 star rating.

We stayed here during our winter holiday with my family. The rooms are average and the style of the rooms are good and a bit old. We booked two rooms but one was bigger that the other even through they were same price. If you decide to stay just a night and then check out the next day morning, this would be the best place with the best rate. It is easier to go to Shahdang or Gebala from here. The only drawback is they dont have heater in room and washroom which wont be much of an issue if you are not staying during their peak winter.
